Fantastic experience in a large canoe with another family, accompanied by a very knowledgeable guide who also led the steering. Our guide Claire’s knowledge of the flora and fauna was superb and really made the trip. Also, much better value for money than canoeing on one of the popular lakes.
Amy was amazing. She was full of knowledge, funny and very accommodating. She took many pictures for our group. We would request her and did again if we had time.
We loved the canoe trip with the Banff Canoe Club. Our family of four was on a large canoe with three others and we had a great time. Our guide Alec was very knowledgeable and made it a lot of fun. I would highly recommend this for families looking for a nice relaxing summer activity in Banff.
Maegan was our lead/ guide for the canoe experience. We enjoyed the experience very much! We traveled with our 4 year old and we were initially concerned how she will participate. But Maegan helped explain everything well and also showed us and explained us important landmarks, and animals/ birds. I will 100% recommend this experience.
Wonderful trip and in calm serene waters. Claire our guide was very chill, super knowledgeable, and overall a very amazing person. I would recommend small/private canoe as a big one with other group might be annoying to some. We're likely coming back for kayak experience...

My family and I recently did the big canoe river explorer trip as part of a group of 7 people with Alec as our guide. We had a brilliant experience. Alec was very knowledgeable on the history of the area, the local landscape and the wildlife. It was great value for money for 90 mins on the river with all the interesting facts, jokes and great atmosphere. Would highly recommended this trip.

Dear Meghan’s mom - your daughter is an outstanding tour guide! You can be very proud! She was very knowledgable about ALL of the wildlife and somehow managed to explain a lot of information to us about everything while steering us up/down the river. Most impressive was our perfect landing on the dock! Someone should give her a raise.

Cam was a great guide and a skilled canoeist. Highly recommend him for future groups. Due to wind the trip was cut a bit short, our only grievance due to the amount the tickets cost.

This was such a fun way to experience Banff and the Bow River. Our family ages 10-44 all loved it and had a great time! Our guide, Tom was the best!
