Rinjani trekking 2D 1N RIM

We had a wonderful time hiking Rinjani up to the crater rim. Firstly, Green Rinjani’s approach towards safety put us at ease; in the face of wildfires affecting areas adjacent/ close to the route departing from Senaru, we were advised to take the route departing from Sembalun (even though the Senaru route remained officially open the day prior to our departure). As for the experience itself, Sapar, our guide, couldn’t have made it better: experienced and attentive, he watched our every movement closely (hyping us up during the most demanding parts of the trail and even walking by our side while kindly holding our hands just when we experienced the most difficulty 😂). He gave us freedom to take breaks whenever we liked, and he made sure we were well fed and hydrated throughout the journey. He stroke a friendly, down-to-earth tone from the very beginning, which greatly contributed to a sense of companionship along the day (which we found especially important, for we had never tackled a hiking challenge of the magnitude of Rinjani’s). Upon arrival at the crater rim, Sapar and the team made sure we were comfortably settled in; a delicious hot meal was served on the spot and care was even taken to ensure the tent’s location was in line with our preferences! The descent on the second day (after witnessing a beautiful sunrise) went as smoothly as the ascent had gone. In the spirit of Green Rinjani’s motto, we even had time to help clean up along the way (as trash can unfortunately still be found here and there). We were picked up right at the beginning of the route and finally dropped off at our following destination in Kuta, Lombok. We’ll be delighted to take another tour with Green Rinjani next time we’re in Lombok: with Sapar, of course, as our guide!

We had a 3D2N private tour totally with 3 friends. Green Rinjani arranged a super friendly and nice guide, Supi, taking us safely up the rim and the summit to hotspring spot and into the jungle, ending in Torean village. I had to strongly recommend this package to all viewers. 4 porters supported our trip along the way preparing delicate cuisines and set up table, chairs and tents always infront of our arrival at every break session. Truly a fantastic and unforgettable experience I've ever had before !!!

We did the 3D2N trip. Rudy, Aweng and Adi were our guides, they were the best! They made our experience even more great then it already was. The hike was hard, but it was so beautiful and definitely worth it. Food was delicious and views magnificent. Thank you Green Rinjani, all the porters and the lovely guides.

For my son and I it was was a simple no brainer to book with Green Rajani! The level of professionalism, love and duty to the mountain, care, consideration, safety and kindness that was shown to us from the team was truly moving. I am a qualified mountaineering myself and what these guides and porters do on a daily basis is superhuman. I was in arwe of the porters running up and down the mountain carrying 40kg loads. The friendliness and the smiles were inspiring. Everything was so well organised. The food, well it was at times too much. They put too much love into it, if that is possible. Our guide was Sapar, he was funny, kind and inspiring. Our porters were Adi and Acip and they possessed superhuman strength, speed and humility. I saw lots of other companies operating on the mountain, Green Rajani had the best tents, equipment and ethos and they left only foot prints. As you can tell myself and my son are big fans! What an experience and what a superb team. Thank you for the memories! ❤️

We did the 2D/1N Crater Rim Tour as a family, and there is really nothing at all that could have been better. From the pickup at our previous hotel, to the briefing and catering the day before the hike, the tour itself, and the subsequent onward transport, everything was perfectly organized. Our guide Fahmi and the 4 porters were totally nice and provided us with incredibly delicious food throughout the entire tour. The porters do a really hard job there and, despite everything, are always in a good mood and spread a totally nice atmosphere. The ascent was strenuous, but thanks to the experienced guidance of our guide, it was ultimately quite manageable. You are in no way rushed and can take an additional break at any time if desired. The view is fantastic, and the overnight stay in a tent on the crater rim with the sunset and the starry sky is an absolutely great experience. We actually found the descent the next day more challenging than the ascent! But all the effort and the subsequent sore muscles were absolutely worth it.

We did the 2D/1N to the Crater Rim from Senaru with Green Rinjani. The hike was really very strenuous, but thanks to our great guide Ahril, we felt safe and in the best of hands at all times. Everything was perfect—there is really nothing that could have been done better. It doesn't get any better than this! Absolute recommendation and a big thank you to Ahril and the two great porters!

We made this trek with an extension of one day to see the like Ana. In one word, it was amazing ! The view on the mount Rinjani on the top of the rim is just tremendous. During sunset, the mix of the sun through clouds over the mountain is so beautiful ! The organisation provided by Green Rinjani company was just perfect. Pick-up and drop-off on time. Excellent food and good briefing. Our guide Sapar was the best guide we ever met ! He provided us all during the trek such good advices especially for safety (very important car some passages are dangerous) and comments about the mountain. More than that, we had deep discussions about life in Lombok. I will always remember when at night, we played Uno card game with him and one of the porter closed to the campfire : unforgettable. So I highgly recommend this agency and ask for Sapar as a guide !
