Really great! Lots of knowledge and a nice lady!
Anna Dragstra is very knowledgeable and greatly enhanced our experiece of Rijkesmuseum’s collection of early 16th century through 17th century. Renaissance through Reformation and the Dutch Golden Age. Thank you Anna!
Anna did a fabulous job showing us the highlights of the Rijksmuseum. She brought The Nightwatch to life. She has great knowledge and taught us a lot. She made the most out of our time in this beautiful museum. We enjoyed our tour with her very much and highly recommend her!
Anna, did a fantastic job with both Rijk and Van Gogh museum. She understands art well and is good about explaining nuances, and hidden layers of art.
We had a personal guide who was very knowledgeable and helped the art come alive. Stories and relevant to our interests. Anna is refined and relatable. Absolutely excited to book more of her tours. Thank You!
Anna is a funny, brilliant storyteller who helped place the art in history and give us the culture notes we were missing to be able to truly understand and deeply enjoy these masterpieces. I highly recommend her.
I have been fortunate to have used travel guides in more 10 cities throughout Europe. Most have been very good. Timm was exceptional; Her knowledge of history, of the artist,of the art was exceptional - and she was able to convey her enthusiasm. She was patient too, to answer the many questions. I would highly recommend her.
Anna was excellent! She was so knowledgeable, kind, and witty, and made my time at the Rijksmuseum an absolute pleasure. She planned the itinerary perfectly, and really designed the tour around what I asked to see. Her stories were wonderful. I learned so much! Her tour has been the highlight of my time in Amsterdam so far. I highly recommend any tour with Anna. You won’t regret it.
Anna was brilliant. Easy to understand, profoundly knowledgeable and very happy to explain further when queried. She has a sense of fun about her subjects. The 2 hour tour was spot on and at our request focused mostly on Rembrandt
We started with a discussion of the museum’s architecture and how it honors the history of Amsterdam while gradually preparing the visitor to fully appreciate the art inside. Anna delved into the significance of the Nightwatch painting as a point of local and national pride. We went through several others, with Anna explaining Rembrandt’s significance in future impressionist work. She also encouraged imagining in detail what the characters in the painting might be doing and feeling the emotions the painters were trying to convey. A guide like Anna adds so much depth to an art museum experience. Highly recommend her!
