Our guide was phenomenal and was instrumental in delivering us an experience I will not forget. I found the trip fun and educational. Muchas Gracias Arturo
We had the pleasure of having Arturo as our tour guide. He made the entire experience incredible from pick up to drop off with his amiable demeanor and thorough knowledge of the area and factory. He provided a wide variety of different tequilas and taught us how to properly drink and enjoy tequila. We feel far more informed about tequila than I ever imagine. After touring the factory we had an incredible dinner with Arturo with great food and conversation. The entire day was a blast from start to finish and we truly feel as though Arturo was our friend by the end and he is more than welcome to crash at our place, anytime. He’s the best and we cannot recommend visiting Jalisco Heights with him more!
I’m super glad I went on this experience with Arturo and his brother. Arturo was super knowledgeable about the tequila making process and he was there to answer any questions I had. The experience was superb with the horseback riding, tour of la fabrica, tequila tasting and late lunch with some yummy tacos! I highly recommend this unique experience as a solo traveler, with friends or with family. I wish I could do this experience all over again! Thank you Arturo for a great day!
Great experience and service! Edgar was always very respectful and funny guy. Also we was very patience and knowledgeable of Andres Jalisco history. Thank you!
The whole experience was so valuable. I learned so much, I felt comfortable, had so much fun. The guide was personable and knowledgeable and I enjoyed the whole experience
I was fortunate enough to be able to book this tour last minute as many other companies canceled because of the world cup. This was such a well planned day and really enjoyed the company of the guide Benji. He was knowledgeable on so many levels, but also personable and was able to slightly alter the tour to my preference. We started the day at a really lovely family run Bistro in town and the owner was so hospitable. The food and beverages are excellent and I highly recommend going early to enjoy something there. I was then picked up by the guide Benji and we departed on a long drive to get to our first destination. The drive was 2 hours but it went quickly as Benji is super personable and knowledgeable about the area and provided a lot of information along the way. His English was perfect and appreciated the ease of communication. We arrived at the tequila factory which was absolutely breathtaking. The agave fields are picturesque and the grounds are immaculately maintained. It looked like a beautiful destination for a wedding or high-end event. We learned about the tequila making process, the family and history of that particular factory, and then got to horsebackride on the trails on the grounds. The horses were calm and lovely. There were also free roaming horses that joined us on parts of the walk, a mother and baby foal that were so beautiful to see. There was an option to do a tequila tasting- but for me, I am not a big day drinker, so instead, we then headed to the nearby town to see the church (which was a spectacular sight). There we learned of some history and had a chance to eat. The church really surprised me by how beautiful and stately it was. I was not expecting to see such an impressive monument. I was the only on of the tour and felt very privileged that the host did not cancel because it was a smaller group and that he took the entire day to show me the site's and teach me the history. I would highly recommend this tour for any horse lovers (beginners as well as more advanced), anyone interested in unique history and historic sites, as well as anyone interested in seeing a unique tequila factory that isn't as mainstream and trying something you probably won't ever get the chance to again.
Accommodating, kind, knowledgeable & fun! Arturo was a great host. He went above and beyond to make sure all of us could have the best experience. It all felt very personal and private. Definitely a good tour that isn’t too strenuous if you’re traveling with an older group but also fun for a younger crowd. 10/10! ⭐️
We enjoyed a highly personal and authentic experience ! It was deeply educational about the tequila making process, and you got to go deep within the factory to see all the machines. The horse ride was on the beautiful grounds surrounding the factory, followed by the tequila tasting, then the best tacos for lunch in the nearby town. The group was small but we all left as friends, and shared plenty of laughs! Highly recommend this tour.
I loved the experience in Arandas, the super nice place and horseback riding wow I highly recommend it!, our guide super good vibe:)
This experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The tequila tour was fascinating, and Benji was incredibly knowledgeable about both the tequila making process and the history of the area. The horseback riding added a fun and scenic adventure to the day, making it even more memorable. To top it all off, we finished with the best carnitas I’ve ever had...truly the perfect ending. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an authentic, well-rounded experience.
