Richmond and Wine Tour

Excellent wine tour around Hobart! It was a very complete full-day experience, including visits to a cheese producer, four wineries, and a delicious lunch. We were a small group of just seven people and were very comfortable throughout the day in the van that took us from place to place. Peter is an exceptional guide – his great sense of humour, warmth, and friendly personality made the whole experience truly unforgettable. He also did a great job bringing the group together: even though not everyone knew each other at the beginning, by the end of the day we were all chatting, laughing, and having great time together (the wine definitely helped too!). Highly recommended!

We had an amazing time. Peter took us to different vineyards where we tasted excellent wine with beautiful views. Everything is included, even a cheese taste and lunch. Peter is a great guide and let us enjoy everything with no rush. Thank you for an amazing time :)

Great driver and guide. Clean and comfortable vehicle. Excellent wineries and lunch. Finished off with a nice view of the city, the bridge and river over to Bruny Island.

From start to end, Peter gave us the most special and memorable day! You can tell he was made for this role. He gave us so much insider info on Hobart, he was patient at each winery and you could really see he has an amazing relationship with them all. He joined in the laughs with us all (at us all). Peter was a big part of what made our day. I have been recommending him since the tour and i absolutely plan to do it again.

We had an absolutely amazing tour with Peter through the Coal River Valley. It was just the two of us on the tour and rather than cancelling due to small numbers, Peter ran a private tour for us! The wineries he took us to were exceptional and the service from each was great. Peter was informative and lovely, he was able to answer all of our questions and provided great knowledge on the region.

We had a fabulous day out on this tour. Peter was a great host/guide, very knowledgeable & a very warm person. We visited 4 great wineries & did a cheese tasting to start the day, with a delicious pizza lunch at one of the wineries. We would thoroughly recommend this day tour.

# 🍷 The Wine Tour 🍷 We started the day all classy and bright, “We’ll just have a taste!” — yeah, bloody right! We swirled and we sniffed, like we had a clue, “Hints of oak?” — *Nah mate, just pour me two!* 😂 First winery down, we’re feeling refined, Second one in… we’ve all lost our minds. By number three, we’re buying a case, And someone’s got crackers all over their face. “Just one more glass!” was heard from the crew, Then suddenly someone had lost a shoe! 👠 The quiet one’s dancing, the loud one’s asleep, And someone’s spilling secrets too deep. 🤫 We came for the wine, the views and the cheer, But somehow spent half of next month’s pay here. We boarded the bus with bottles galore, Then yelled at the driver — **“ONE WINERY MORE!”** Tomorrow we’ll wake with a thumping headache, Check our bank and call it a mistake. But when someone asks, “Would you do it again?” We’ll raise up our glasses and shout— **“WHEN?!”** 🍷🥂😂

Andrew, our guide, was great! The wineries and wines were excellent and we liked that they were smaller & family owned. The Wicked Cheese was very tasty! Our pizza lunch was so good too! We really enjoyed the day and everything ran on time!

Peter was an amazing host taking us to great wineries and explaining all the history and all the interesting facts as we drive around. We were extremely well looked after. A very personalised tour, felt like the only two there. Very very highly recommended.
