Our sea angling boat tour offers an all-inclusive experience for small groups. From coffee and home-made cookies on our way out to our secret fishing spots to a gourmet barbecue made with your own catch on the way back, we take care of all the details. You can focus on fishing and enjoying the incredible journey along Reykjavik's coastline. We provide top-quality fishing equipment, a comfortable and typical Icelandic fishing boat, as well as our expertise as long-time fishermen in Iceland. The crew is there to help you begin with sea angling or improve your skills. Our captain and chef will barbecue your catch and serve it to you on the way back to harbor accompanied with potato salad and garlic sauce If the Icelandic weather is not on our side, the crew will provide you with coffee as well as warm blankets. Our typical Icelandic fishing boat, Jóhanna, offers a cosy inside space with all facilities, including a restroom. Pure Icelandic experience guaranteed!

This fun and friendly fishing tour is for everyone, from beginners to advanced sea anglers. Our experienced crew will take you to their favourite fishing spots where you can cast your line and reel in a variety of fish species such as cod, haddock, and pollock. The fishing grounds in Reykjavik are known for their high success rates, so you'll have a good chance of reeling in a catch. Upon reaching the fishing grounds, the crew will help you begin your sea angling adventure, explaining the basics and providing you with excellent fishing equipment. Guests who prefer bringing their own equipment are welcome to do so. Don't worry if you're new to fishing: the crew will be there to assist you throughout the tour and offer valuable tips and techniques. The crew will prepare your catch and grill it on the barbecue. Lunch with your own catch, accompanied with potatoes, coleslaw, and our secret skyr sauce will be served on the way back to harbour.

Catch and cook while on board with incredible views all around
Our family usually enjoys ocean fishing while on vacation so booked this in advance. The brothers are very welcoming and friendly their boat was clean and well maintained. They are very knowledgeable and everyone on board caught fish. The meal they prepared was excellent and very fresh as it was prepared from the Cod, Haddock and Wolf fish we all caught while on board. An added bonus was we saw a whale! Very exhilarating.

An absolutely fantastic angling trip in Reykjavík!
We had an absolutely fantastic angling trip in Reykjavík! The two brothers who run the trip were incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming. They clearly know their fishing and made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. The trip was very well organized, relaxed, and great fun. We were lucky enough to catch some beautiful fish — and an extra special part of the experience was that we even got to eat the fish we caught ourselves!

This fishing trip was amazing! Not only did we catch lots of fish but we saw humpback whales! The captain cooked a delicious lunch!

What a fun experience and...
What a fun experience and they sure knew how to put you on the fish. Everyone caught several. So fun! Those wolf fish are wild though and some of us got tangled up in catching a halibut lol. They cool you up a meal with the fish caught. Was so good. Highly recommend.

Awesome!
A 100% recommended experience! Without a doubt, one of the most authentic highlights of our trip to Iceland. Vigfús took great care of everyone from start to finish. He brought us to several fishing spots, and even though it was my very first time fishing, I caught plenty of fish! We also got to see puffins in the distance, which was a wonderful bonus. To top it all off, we ended the trip enjoying the fish we had just caught, freshly cooked by Vigfús himself. He’s not only an excellent fisherman and sailor, but also a fantastic cook. If you’re looking for a truly authentic Icelandic experience, this is it. Highly recommended!
