City of the Dead: See the cemetery as a societal mirror—who is remembered and who is forgotten?
This is more than a history lesson; it’s a chance to understand the forces that built Argentina.
Note: Cemetery entry is optional. Tickets are available at the gate or in advance, online.

TAKE THIS TOUR.
Ignacio was beyond fabulous! We learned so much about the history of Argentina and the city of Buenos Aires that our heads were spinning. Ignacio is a wealth of knowledge-he had answers for our questions, he was engaging and pleasant, and he paid attention to making sure the pace of the information was working for the group. I would recommend him in a heartbeat. Take this tour!!!!

Incredible!
I completely screwed up our meeting place and Nicolas did everything he could to help me. We met up half way through and toured the cemetery. I was so disappointed when it was done because I could have spent days listening to him. Knowledgeable and incredibly intelligent and kind. I absolutely recommend this tour and ask for Nicolas !
Operator response
Thank you so much! Please don’t give the mix-up another thought. It happens! I’m just happy we finally found each other and got to tour the cemetery together. Thank you for the recommendation.

What a fabulous morning we had. Nico was full of great, knowledgeable information which he related to us with passion. The walk took in some lovely parts of Recoleta, ending at Evitas crypt in in the cemetery. We both really enjoyed the walk and learning more about Buenos Aires history.

MUST DO!! Nico was our phenomenal tour guide who brought the rich Argentinian history and culture to life. It was not a lecture but an engaging conversation the entire time. We learned about politics, economics, and the intricacies of European influence in modern day Buenos Aires. Nico is an expert on these subjects and brings humor and fun every step of the way. Highly recommend this fabulous experience.

Knowledgeable Tour (Lots of Walking)
Wonderful tour! Our tour guide, Nico, was incredibly knowledgeable and gave a well versed history of the city during our tour. We didn't realize how much walking we would be doing (about 2 hours around the city and then 1 hour in the cemetery). Overall about 5-6 miles of walking.
Operator response
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your review and for your kind words! I’m delighted to hear your family enjoyed the tour and found the historical insights engaging.
I appreciate you mentioning the walking distance. It is true, we do cover a fair amount of ground to make sure we see all the highlights described in the itinerary, including the cemetery visit. I’m glad you were up for the adventure!
