I think picking rattlesnake canyon was a great alternative to the busy antelope. It was equally as beautiful and just us! The tour guide was a nice man who never told us his name but very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a nice experience.

Was past lot of tour places on the road but I am glad we booked with adventurous antelope. the guild Nate was fun and informative. He knew all about the canyon and the plants around. What a beautiful canyon. Better than the pictures.
Great tour with Irene leading us. She shared so much and helped/guided people taking pictures. Definitely would recommend going to anyone!!!
Just returned to Scottsdale a few hours ago from a awesome "memory" trip with my adult children and two 15 year grands. We booked the Upper Canyon trip and our guide was AMAZING, taking his time to help with photos and helping us take it all it. We have lived in Scottsdale in Scottsdale since 1982, and sure wish I had done this sooner...!!! It tour was easy, the exit from the canyon was a bit of test for me...lots of stairs up and ramp down...but I took my time. They do not sell bottled water, you cannot take a purse, backpack..and many other "rules" to perserve this marvel!!! We drove up, leaving the valley early, stopping for lunch, snacks and Horseshoe Bend for the 3:15 tour. Just an amazing memory trip! TIP YOUR GUIDE!!!!
We took the 3 hour privately guided tour of four canyons. If this works in your budget, do it!! Our guide was amazing and helped us with great photos and information on the area. The air conditioned transportation was awesome between canyons.
Fascinating hike absolutely to do. It costs a little but worth it. Better make the first round of the morning to avoid things.
Jarrin was an excellent tour guide. Our tour was for Rattlesnake canyon and after viewing that he took the time to show us the owls in owl canyon as well. The tour was informative and even showed us where to get the best photos and took several photos for us. We had a great afternoon!
So glad we did the Rattlesnake Canyon tour, what a beautiful place to explore and take photos. Definitely worth it, would do it again. Roman was an awesome guide who shared lots of knowledge about the area’s plants and animals, as well as aspects of Navajo culture. Highly recommend this tour and if you are fortunate to have Roman as a guide, that’s a bonus!
Our guide Ronnie was incredibly knowledgeable about the geology and history of the area. He was full of energy and passion.
