PLEASE READ THROUGH THOROUGHLY: There are NO kids allowed under the age of 8 years old. Every participant must be older 8 years and older. You must arrive 20 minutes early. Experience a fully guided tour into the 8th wonder of the world, Upper Antelope Canyon. This tour will show the natural illuminating sunlight on the canyon walls, while it is changing colors throughout the seasons. Tour 1 allows sightseers to experience the canyon for around 80 minutes in their selected time slot. With the new updated guidelines, Upper Antelope Canyon is a single direction tour. Visitors will now exit with a 15-minute hike, up and over the beautiful canyon. There are 21 steps going up and 112 steps going down. No children under 8 years old and due to the elevation changes, this tour is not handicapped accessible.

Beautiful
There were three in our group who went on the tour. I decided not to go since I have rheumatoid arthritis and could not get a clear answer as to if I had to walk the 121 steps down at the end. Turns out that they let people, if needed, to walk back out where you entered but you will need to pass a lot of people that came in behind your group. The three that went enjoyed the tour of the Upper Canyon and came back with lots of beautiful pictures. They did feel rushed as people were continuously herded through. They are glad that they did it though. They felt that their guide didn't give a lot of instruction, but she knew how to produce great pictures. I visited the town of Page during their tour time and saw many people standing in long lines at other tour companies. Seeing this I was glad that I had booked through Adventurous. Upon arriving there were canopies and picnic tables to sit at until tour time and the use of port-a-potties if needed. They stress that they operate on Mountain Standard Time, same as Phoenix. Even though I checked that the times were the same, driving from Sedona to Page there was a time change area we drove through, and I almost died as it was then showing we would be arriving an hour late! After some hyperventilation and rationalizing, I realized we were going to arrive at the correct time. Whew!

Great Experience!
Chad was our guide and he was knowledgeable and a great guide. It was our favorite thing we did in Page, AZ. The canyon was beautiful. I would highly recommend this tour.

Awesome Tour
The tour was AMAZING and well worth every penny. The Upper Antelope Canyon is beautiful and our pictures turned out great. Our tour guide, Carson, was so knowledgeable about the canyon and surrounding area. He provided wonderful information about the Navajo Nation and some of their customs and traditions.

Our guide Carson was great. He explained all about the canyon as well as Navajo history. And he took amazing photos throughout the entire tour.

Excellent tour of the Upper Antelope Canyon
Easy flat walk through a beautiful slot canyon. Enough room so I wasn’t claustrophobic. Our guide Brandon was amazing. Knowledgeable, informative and super nice. Would recommend to everyone. It is 700 feet so not too long. If you can’t walk the 15 minute hike back outside the canyon back to the van, Brandon will escort you back through the canyon which takes half the time,
