The Halfway to Hana Fruit Stand is a beloved roadside stop along the Hana Highway. This family-owned and operated fruit stand offers travelers a delightful break from the winding road with its selection of fresh tropical fruits, snacks, and refreshments. The tour is very good. Beautiful stopping places..guide well informed. Relaxing amd comfortable. But it was a long tour of 12 hours plus. Be prepared with extra water and snacks, towels and water shoes for swim options.

We had a wonderful time with Maka. He picked us up from the port without any issues. The tour brought us to a coffee shop to start where you can get drinks and breakfast. Then we hit the road. We stopped to see the sea turtles on the beach, the beautiful rainbow eucalyptus trees, waterfalls where we could swim/jump, then to the black sand beach with more swimming. Maka was great at detailing the views and explaining everything we could see and all different stories about the trip. You can take the tour with anyone, but I’ll say Maka was the highlight. He learned all 11 of our names, spoke with us like a friend, and genuinely made the experience enjoyable. Highly recommend. I will add that it’s a long trip. We were picked up at 8:30 and made it back to the ship at 5:45

Cousin Junior (Raphael) performed a very fun tour. We loved the seas turtles the most. Got a great video of some surfacing and beaching.
Sounds like "Cousin" Junior made it a fun one! Our guides love sharing the places and moments that make Maui so special, and sometimes nature gives our guests an unforgettable show of its own. Seeing the honu surfacing and coming onto the beach must have been an incredible memory to capture! Mahalo for exploring with our Hāna & Beyond ʻohana!
Overall I would give this tour a 4.8 stars. Van is comfortable and seats up to 24 people. There were 19 on my tour. Our tour guide Junior friendly and was a good driver. We stopped at for breakfast at Maui Made Cafe, Ho'okipa Beach, photo op with rainbow eucalyptus trees, Puaʻa Kaʻa State Park, Hana Bay Beach Park, Halfway to Hana, and Hana town. Be aware that the tour may not stop at Waiʻanapanapa state park due to construction there severely limiting the amount of visitors allowed. The tour didstop at Hana Bay Beach Park which has black sand. I would recommend bringing extra snacks - the lunch is quite small and it is a very long day. I was on the tour for 12 hours. Also remember your bug spray and portable charger! Be wary that the time you return to your pickup area can vary due to road conditions/traffic. The tour guide does their best to make sure you're back in time, especially if you're on a cruise. Hotel drop offs are later priority. Website estimates you will be dropped off back to hotels around 5:30, but the particular tour I was on didn't have me back at my hotel until closer to 6:45, so be wary if making dinner reservations. I would say the tour is good money for the value of having someone else navigate the road to Hana for you... I just found the lunch small.
