Itinerary
This tour starts early! Since the route to Rainbow Mountain is a bit long, we’ll pick you up directly from your hotel or accommodation between 4:00 and 4:30 AM—this way, we’ll be among the first to arrive and enjoy this magical place before the crowds.
After this, we will drive about 2 hours to the small village of Cusipata, where we will enjoy a group breakfast to recharge before the hike. Afterward, our driver will take us on a scenic 1.5-hour drive to the trailhead, where your guide will provide important instructions and tips for the ascent.
The hike begins! Along the path, you will see local wildlife, including alpacas grazing at the mountain’s base, as well as stunning Andean landscapes. You willl also catch breathtaking views of Ausangate Mountain, the most sacred peak in southern Cusco, revered as the Apu or "Mountain Spirit." After 1.5 hours of hiking, you’ll reach the summit of Rainbow Mountain, where you will have around 40 minutes to soak in the panoramic views, capture incredible photos, and learn about the history and cultural significance of this colorful wonder.
We will then descend along the same path, where our driver will be waiting to take us back to Cusipata for a well-deserved lunch. Afterward, we’ll return to Cusco with a 2-hour drive, ending the tour at Plaza Regocijo, just 3 blocks from the Plaza de Armas. This convenient location in the historic center is perfect for continuing your exploration of the city or heading back to your hotel.

Wonderful experience. Truly an amazing place
The mountain of seven colors is a place where you can take pictures with spectacular landscapes. Before arriving at the mountain we find local fauna such as alpacas and llamas.

It is a must if you plan a trip to Peru!! The view is amazing as you see the mountains, snow and mountain of various colors.

They assisted us with tickets and provided everything we needed, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. The ATV motors were in great condition, making the journey even more enjoyable.
