Rainbow Mountain by ATVs 01 Day
Description
This is a great and original way to visit Rainbow Mountain. This is a tour, full of adventure that mixed the adventure by ATVs in the south of Cusco with the trek to Rainbow Mountain. With this tour you dont need to walk too long fo visit Vinincunca Mountain. You will use ATVs on the route to go to Vinincunca, then you will do a short trek to Rainbow Mountain.

Itinerary
Pick up 04:30 am from the hotel, you will go by tourist transportation to the South Valley. The trip takes about 3.5 hours to reach the town of Pitumarca and then Japura, where we’ll enjoy a delicious breakfast to recharge the batteries. Then you’ll start the activity by ATVs, the tour guide will give you all the instructions and recomendations, it is aproximately 6 km by ATVs, after that were are going to start a trek of 40 minutes aproximately. You will be amazed immediately by the beauty scenic, flora and fauna with herds of alpacas and llamas and you’ll have incredible views of the Ausangate Mountain. The walk will go through typical villages. Then we’ll finally arrive to our destination, what we came to see!!! Vinincunca(5,020 m / 16,466 ft). On the top we can appreciate the beautiful and magical mountain rainbow Area, as well as the Ausangate one of the most revered mountains in the region, here you will have time to explore the area and take pictures
Later you will return the walk downhill to the village of Qosqopata, where you will take the ATVs to go back to the town of Japura where you’ll recharge energy with a delicious lunch. Finally we’ll return to Cusco by transportation. Arrival time 04:30 to 5:00 pm. approximately. The lowest elevation: 4,326 m / 14,189 ft The highest elevation: 5,020 m / 16,466 ft Approximate walking time: 1 to 1.5 hours

The tour was very cool and well organized! Recommend! We caught a lot of snow but it was very beautiful! When we arrived there was already a lot of people we only had 1h does not give time for the typical photo with the amount of people who are already there, keep that in mind. But it all went super well! :)
