Massimo was on time and in the right location. Massimo was charming, charismatic, very knowledgeable about the Vatican and very knowledgeable about Italy. The tour moved at a very good pace (lots to see but we kept moving). We really enjoyed the tour and thought Massimo was incredible.
Monica was wonderful!!!! We enjoyed our tour. Learned a lot. We enjoyed having her explain the images. Made our experience much more meaningful.
David was wonderful. Very friendly, knowledgeable and informative.
Being a wheelchair user was really important to meet someone like Deborah who helped us around and kept us informed the whole time and made us feel very relaxed. We’re so happy that we found someone like that.
Bigmoma gave us a Vatican morning to remember. Even in the August crowds, she made it feel personal. She knew exactly when to talk, when to let us just look up, and how to keep us moving so we never felt stuck. Her stories made 500-year-old frescoes feel alive. My wife's first language is Spanish, and Bigmoma took real care that she never missed a single story. That kind of attention is rare. The internal passage from the Sistine Chapel into St. Peter's alone was worth it. Rome has 10,000 guides and we got the right one. Five stars isn't enough. PS. Look out for the last step up into the Sistine Chapel. You may meet St. Peter earlier than you thought.
Patricia was an excellent guide and did an amazing job explaining the art. She let us explore the parts we liked best, never rushed us and made sure the tour was exactly what we wanted it to be - wound book with her again - terrific guide !
