It's the most upward bridge. In fact, these are two bridges because they are two separate boards. It was inaugurated in September 1995. It's a road bridge.

The current railway bridge was inaugurated on 24 June 1992. It is written by a Portuguese Engineer - Edgar Cardoso.
The next tower was built by the same Engineer at the height of the bridge to study the progress of the work.

It is the bridge designed by Gustav Eiffel. One of the most beautiful bridges in Porto. It was the first railway bridge. It was opened in 1877 and was operational until 1992. It is currently completely closed. It's a prime Eiffel.

Perfect romantic private couple cruise
Suzanne and Sergio were excellent hosts, very private cruise w just the sounds of water and wind, an excellent tray of cheeses and meats, good Verda wine, port at end-Suzanne had excellent knowledge of the bridges, all the way out to the lighthouse at the oceanfront, they lingered among to Porto city lights beyond time of cruise, first class experience!!!!!

Highly recommend sunset cruise!
Susana and Sergio were great hosts! We had a lovely sunset cruise. The weather was gorgeous as was the scenery. The ride was smooth. Wine and a great cheese platter were served. Sunset at the ocean was wonderful, and the city after dark was beautiful!!

An Enchanting Evening
Susana and Sergio are wonderful, knowledgeable hosts! Susana answered our endless questions and prepared a delicious charcuterie board with wine and Port, plus non-alcoholic options like juice and water. The boat was cozy and comfortable. We took a 5:30 boat ride, watched the sunset, and then enjoyed the lights of Porto and Gaia at night. I took 1,000 pics - the views and different lighting from day to night was beautiful. Highly recommend! My husband especially enjoyed the boat ride because he knew I wasn’t going to make him trudge uphill for at least two hours. (Ha!) A wonderful, relaxing boat ride after a busy day of sightseeing. Orbrigado, Susana and Sergio!

Sunset boat tour - Porto
Highly recommend getting a tour from Susana and her husband!
Susana gave us a clear explanation of the region and all the stuff to see along the riverbank. The view was amazing and even though there were clouds, they made sure the sunset was amazing. The little addons are definitely a plus.

An amazing sunset experience!
Susana and her husband Sergio met us at the Marina early evening and we made our way up the Douro for the sunset.
Seeing all the other boats on the river was lovely too and the atmosphere was great.
It had been a beautiful day and the sky was clear.
We enjoyed tapas and fizz on the boat. As we approached the sea the sun went down, it was amazing! We turned for home and all the lights in Porto were coming on. The bridges were beautifully lit.
Would highly recommend. A wonderful memory of our time in this lovely city.

Highlight of our time in...
Highlight of our time in Porto. Sergio and Susanna clearly share what they love and have created. The sunset and the city at night was spectacular! They kept the boat calm, had wonderful music playing, and even brought 2 n/a beers for my partner who doesn’t drink. The port and cheese plate was delicious. My partner and I had the most romantic time laying on the padded bow and seeing the sights!

Memorable Romantic Experience
Susana and Sergio were outstanding hosts. We were greeted at the entrance to the marina and led down to the boat. Susana took the time to tell us about the city of Porto and point out some interesting things as we cruised along. It was perfectly timed so that we reached the Atlantic just as the sun was setting. We were fed a nice tray of snacks as well as some wine and Porto. (Food allergies were taken into consideration).
On the return, it was dark, so the lights of the city on both sides were beautiful. It was a very romantic experience.
I booked this cruise for just my partner and I to propose to her in front of a beautiful sunset in a special moment. Susana was a big help for me. She arranged a bouquet of flowers, played the special song that I had and even snapped a few pictures for us to really capture the moment.
I would recommend this experience to anyone!

We love Susana and Sergio!
Susana and Sergio were lovely! Susana was knowledgeable about the various buildings we sailed by and was very patient with my thousand questions :) Sergio has custom-built several accessories on the boat to make the ride more comfortable - a drink holder, a charcuterie tray, etc. They even changed their usual charcuterie menu to account for my food allergies. We highly recommend them!
