We just came back from our vacation to Cancun/Puerto Morelos and used Happy Shuttle Cancun for pick up and drop-off at Cancun airport. We booked online and it was quick and easy. They sent an email with the booking confirmation and in that email was also instructions on how to find them depending on what terminal you arrive. Also, they included some warnings and things to be aware of when arriving to the airport especially with scammers. When we arrived it was just like they said. You get harassed right when you leave security and start heading out. We follow the instructions for our terminal and we found them right away. They (Ana was our greeter) confirmed our reservation and told us to wait about 10-15 min for our driver. She also confirmed our return pickup time and gave us a receipt for that. Once our driver (Jesus Ayala) arrived, she walked us to him and he took our luggage and loaded on to the van. The van had AC and it was great since it is was hot and humid outside. Our ride was 20 min to the hotel. Everything was smoothly. Our return pickup was also on time. Definitely recommend Happy Shuttle Cancun!

Unfortunately, our experience with Happy Shuttle Travel in Cancun was extremely disappointing, and I would not book with this company again. Our arrival started poorly. Our flight was delayed, which was outside of anyone’s control, but once we finally arrived and located their representative at the airport, we were told that our driver would arrive within approximately 10–15 minutes. We ended up waiting outside for well over an hour. During that time, other travelers who arrived after us were picked up before us, while we continued to wait with very little useful communication. We had a dinner reservation that evening and repeatedly explained that we were concerned about missing it. After waiting around an hour and a half, a driver finally arrived. At that point, instead of being taken to our hotel as originally planned, we had to ask to be dropped directly at the restaurant just so we could make our reservation. Unfortunately, the return transfer was even worse. While speaking with their representative at the airport, we specifically changed our departure pickup time to 5:30 a.m. and were told that it would be updated. On the morning of our departure, I contacted the company to confirm and was suddenly told our pickup was still scheduled for 5:00 a.m. I explained multiple times that we had already communicated the 5:30 change to their representative and that this was not an error on our part. I was told that nothing could be changed because it was “too late.” After going back and forth, we rushed to get downstairs as quickly as possible. One of us went outside to stop the driver from leaving and began loading our luggage into the vehicle while the other went back upstairs for the remaining bags. Despite knowing that we were actively bringing our luggage down, the driver removed the luggage that had already been placed in the vehicle, left it outside the hotel, and drove away. We were then left stranded while trying to get to the airport for our flight. What makes the experience even more frustrating is that there was no meaningful follow-up afterward, no apology, no attempt to make the situation right, and no refund for the transportation service that we ultimately could not use. I booked this company because of the positive reviews and expected reliable airport transportation. Instead, we experienced excessive waiting, poor communication, an incorrectly recorded pickup time, and ultimately being abandoned at our hotel on the morning of our flight. I understand that delays and mistakes can happen. What matters is how a company handles them, and unfortunately, the way this situation was handled was unacceptable. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Happy Shuttle Travel.
