Hike to the summit of Rainbow Mountain, taking in the stunning panoramic views of its vibrant, multi-colored slopes. Along the way, your local guide will share insights about the unique flora and fauna that inhabit the high Andes. Once at the peak, take your time to soak in the breathtaking scenery, including the majestic snow-capped Ausangate Mountain in the distance. .

Pick-up is available from hotels located near Cusco’s Plaza de Armas to ensure easy access and identification. Before the tour begins, a brief orientation will be provided at the pick-up location. The experience is not what is advertised by Viator. This experience is sold as a private tour and all fees included. My brother and I were on a tight timeline and booked this tour for this reason. - Upon pick up we were continuously asked if we wanted to do ATVs to the the top of Rainbow Mountain where we said no multiple times. We found out that this was because the tour group wanted to add us to a group verses a private experience. We said yes eventually because there was no one available to take us solo to Rainbow Mountain - The experience said that park entrance was covered as well. We had to pay the guide on the bus for each individual entry - We were added to a group tour where we were crammed into a bus for 4.5 hour each way. (The ATV experience requires a 4.5 hour drive vs the hike which is only 2.5 hours each way) Rainbow Mountain was amazing and I would go again I just would not book through Viator as the experience was falsely labeled

George was a great guide! Very friendly and knowledgeable. Even though we didn’t have the greatest weather, it was still an amazing experience. Definitely recommend booking a private tour with George. It’s way better than booking one of those large group tours.
This was one of the most amazing and unique experience I have had in my life! The hike was so worth it. And thanks to our tour guide for making it easy for us. The horse ride was awesome, was able to enjoy the beautiful views before climbing the last leg of the hike. Our tour guide Gorge was great! We had a private car and he was very knowledgeable. We stopped to eat after the hike in a nice little place on the way back (water and meal was included). I would do this tour again!
