He pre-purchased your cable car and toboggan tickets and got you through the VIP lane to skip the crowds of buses and shuttles. When guests choose our VIP fast pass option, your private car won’t stop at the visitor center shuttle bus station. You don’t need to queue and transfer to the shuttle bus to reach the Great Wall entrance, and your private vehicle can park close to the entrance. This can save you at least one hour, which is why many travelers choose a private car for their Great Wall visit. It’s wonderful that you enjoyed the tea tasting stop on your return journey. We totally agree that starting early is the best way to visit the Great Wall, as it gets busy and hot quickly. The toboggan ride is really fun and not as intimidating as many people expect! The ancient Great Wall winds along the mountain ridges. The best viewpoint is from the No. 6 Watchtower. After exploring the Wall, taking the Toboggan slide down from the top back to the entrance makes the whole experience much more fun and relaxing. Families with kids often love it so much that they even go for a second ride!
