Meet Youssouf at your hotel before you drive together to his farm outside of Marrakech, which is beautifully decorated with traditional furniture. Roll up your sleeves and join Youssouf in his home kitchen to learn to prepare a few traditional Moroccan dishes with a twist. In your Marrakech cooking class, you will learn to make 2 dishes from scratch - an appetizer and a main dish. Which you will later enjoy with your hosts. You can expect the cooking lesson to last about 1.5 hours. A few dishes that you might try at Youssouf and Giselle's home are Moroccan lentils or zaalouk (smoked eggplant salad) or taktouka (Moroccan salad made with tomatoes, smoked peppers and garlic), Moroccan meatballs or baby chicken with saffron and preserved lemon sauce and olives or vegetarian tajine with seasonal vegetables and seasonal fruit salad with a touch of orange blossom. Enjoy your meal with a glass of Moroccan wine or a cocktail with infused rum or a mocktail and a homemade limoncello.
