Khmisa and Kawtar, two Moroccan women passionate about cooking, welcome you in Marrakech for a meal at Khmisa's place in the heart of the Medina in the pure Moroccan cuisine tradition and in a family and warm atmosphere. Khmisa, Chef for 25 years now, specialised in Morrocan cuisine and pastry, has worked for several renowned hotel establishments in the cities of Rabat and Marrakech. Kawtar, graduated with a bachelor degree in hospitality and tourism will also assist you during your cooking class and help with the communication between you and the Chef. At the arrival, we will welcome you with a traditional mint tea and we will discuss with you about the menu choice which will be composed of the most typical best Moroccan dishes. the menu will be starter/ main course/desert. First we will go with Chef Khmisa to the Old Souk . A walk through the souk to buy the fresh ingredient. Once back home, we will start the preparation.

Lovely venue, excellent host. Went shopping locally for the ingredients and then walked to the house for traditional mint tea and then an amazing Moroccan 🇲🇦 cooking lesson. Food was really fun to make all together with the group and, see it cooking and then eat it all including a chicken taking - really lovely host and ‘Auntie ♥️’. Recommend highly
Is you expect a cooking class where you can do all the cooking yourself, you’ll be disappointed. It start with a visit to a grocery shop where you get told how many tomatoes, zuchinis, onions etc. you have to pick. There is no explanation whatsoever on Maroccan vegetables, herbs, etc. You then head to the place where the ‘cooking’ is done. You’ll fiest learn how to serve Maroccan tea. You then get told how to cut the vegetables and what spices you have to add. The cooking itself, is done by a cook.
Can only recommend for anybody visiting Marrakech. Very lovely and chill course in great company. Thank you!
I regret a lack of time to communicate, and not having a written recipe at the end... We go fast and we each make a small element instead of learning a recipe. It's a shame

What a great experience, we were met at the location and went to the market to pick up the ingredients, these were all explained to us, we got to see how to make traditional Moroccan tea and how to pour it. When cooking the meal everyone was included the explanation of what we were doing made sense, we made 4 starters and 2 mains (a chicken and a vegetarian option) and a dessert, it all tasted amazing the 2 chefs were very welcoming and friendly, we then received copies of the recipes to take home to try ourselves, would highly recommend
My son and I took this class together and really enjoyed it. It was nice to do something a bit different. The class was relaxed and we learnt how to make some Moroccan starters and a tagine main course (a vegetarian option was accommodated for me) that we can try to recreate at home.
We had a great time sharing around the table for the meal preparation and surprise, we also shared a real meal to taste our preparations. We can't wait to make these good recipes at home again! Thank you!!

They said we didnt turn up even though we had a time stamed photo of us at the location Do not book Scam Scam Scam scam We waited 30 min in 40 degree hest and they did not show These people are con artists
Hello Sonny, Our guide was at the designated meeting point with the rest of the group and waited for 15 minutes after the scheduled meeting time. During that time, we also attempted to contact you by phone, text message, and email. These contact attempts were confirmed by TripAdvisor, but unfortunately we did not receive any response. Several hours later, you contacted us to explain that you had gone to a different meeting location than the one clearly stated on your ticket and booking confirmation. We understand how frustrating it is to miss a tour, but in this case our team was present at the correct meeting point and made multiple efforts to reach you. We have been operating this experience for many years, and our more than 5,000 reviews reflect the reliability and quality of the service we provide. We always strive to help our guests whenever possible and regret that you missed the experience.
Great experience, from shopping for the ingredients, to cooking the foods. Everything was explained to us, and we each got a chance to be involved in chopping and adding the ingredients.
