You’ll meet your experienced guide at the trail and set out to see Yosemite from a different perspective. Every tour is designed to take advantage of the best locations available at the time of your visit, with an effort to avoid the crowds, even at the height of the summer season. Travel along less-visited trails with your expert guide, getting an incredible experience of the forest, waterfalls and meadows around Yosemite Valley. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of the Yosemite wilderness while your expert guide provides security and safety on the trail. Your guide will also be available to take photos of your group so that you have amazing shots from your day out in Yosemite!
Choose from two options for your family or group: Beginner Hike Enjoy a pleasant half-day hike on a gentle trail in Yosemite Valley or the High Country with excellent photo opportunities. You’ll have a picnic at a scenic site, either a magnificent vista point or alongside a meadow, lake, or stream. Expect to hike four to five miles with minimal elevation gains on a tour that lasts approximately five hours. Moderate Hike You’ll escape from the crowds and take some of Yosemite’s most scenic trails a little further during a hiking tour that is perfect for novice hikers who want a bit more of a challenge. Expect to hike five to six miles with elevation gains up to 1000 feet (305m) on a tour that lasts approximately six hours.

Amazing!
I would give our guide John DeGrazio a 6 if I could. He was informative, recommended an amazing hike that we never would have considered (Lembert Dome and Dog Lake), set a great pace, and increased the breaks as the slower folks in the group needed more time. And he was as friendly as can be. The hike had an optional challenging component. There is no pressure on anyone to do it, and for those who did it was safety first.

Excellent tour of the top sites
Our guide, Kat did a terrific job of telling us about the area we were visiting and giving us plenty of time to look around. This tour showed us many of the top highlights of Yosemite and was well worth the cost. Highly recommend doing it.

Beautiful scenery with a perfect guide.
Our guide was great and personable. He was very knowledgeable about Yosemite history, and flora and fauna. We appreciated his graciousness as my husband has a leg injury and we had to go at a slower pace, but our guide filled in the time with interesting stories and facts. Highly recommended!

Lovely guide, beautiful day, memorable experience

Great Experience with YExplore
We had a fantastic experience with YExplore. Our original hike location had to change due to snow and road closures, but the team at YExplore was proactive with their communication. They helped us switch to the Mirror Lake/Eastern Yosemite hike. Despite the rainy conditions, we thoroughly enjoyed our five-hour hike with Emily. She was very knowledgeable, making our time together enjoyable and informative. We highly recommend YExplore for hiking in Yosemite National Park.
