The oldest bridge in London and the reason why Borough market exists. We'll share stories about the amazing history of the bridge from early Roman times, through the middle ages when severed heads were displayed here.
One of the world's most famous rivers provides a unique backdrop to our tour. A main source of the capital's drinking water the river has provided life to the city for thousands of years.
The larder of London. One of the world's truly great food markets. Our tour focuses on the market as we explore the narrow alleys and lanes feasting on the best gluten free dishes on offer. We'll meet traders and hear about their stories as we try different dishes and tastings from some of London's best street food vendors.
The ship that conquerered the world has a replica that sits in a dry dock right by Borough market.
Once the doomed resting place for the city's vagrants, waifs and strays. We'll pass by the old prison that coined the phrase "the clink".

We had Sam for our guide. He felt like a friend after only a little while of meeting. He was really engaging, welcoming and knowledgeable. The tour was a good mix of history and food tasting, being gluten free I got to try a great selection of interesting foods. A fabulous tour, would highly recommend and you leave very full!

My cousin & I did the Private GF food tour with our amazing guide - Trevelyan - who took us all around the market and provided us with amazing history and food to eat! We had an amazing experience and it was truly a highlight of the trip. Cannot recommend this tour enough! I will say, groups of 8 or less probably recommended simply due to the high traffic volume and tight space of the market. Would absolutely do it again!
