Itinerary

Mumbai

420 min

At city tour visit all the top attractive places on any traveler’s itinerary to Mumbai, including the Gateway of India, Taj Mahal Palace, Dhobi Ghat, the Town Hall, Victoria Terminus, the Municipal Building, Marine Drive,Nariman point, Chowpatty Beach, Hanging Garden, Mani Bhavan. It is an ideal tour to learn about the history and culture of Mumbai, and to introduce yourself to the wonderful city. Dhobi Ghat, where a traditional laundry man will collect your dirty linen, wash it, and return it neatly pressed to your doorstep. After city tours we drive to the Dharavi for slum tours Prepare your self for at least 1 and a half walk inside Dharavi slums. In this tours, you will see why Dharavi is the heart of small scale industries in Mumbai (annual turnover is approximately US$ 665 million). We show you a wide range of these activities- from recycling, the making of clay pots, embroidery, bakery, soap factory, leather tanning, papad (poppadom) making and many others, most of which take place in very small spaces. We also pass by the residential areas, where you really get a feel of how the people are living and you see the sense of community and spirit that exists in the area. People from all over India and from all religions live in Dharavi, and you will see this diversity- for example there are Hindu temples, mosques and churches. It is quite an adventure to pass through the narrow alleys, and you will almost certainly lose your sense of direction!

Day out in Mumbai!

I had a fantastic experience exploring Mumbai with Nisar. He’s very knowledgeable, friendly, and made the city come alive with his insights and stories. The tour was well-paced, thoughtfully organized, and gave us a great mix of culture, history, and local life. Nisar’s personal touch and attention to detail really made the difference. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic and memorable Mumbai experience.
