Great tour and a beautiful island
Maaz did a great job with the tour but was soft spoken and my friend in the backseat could't hear, even after asking him to speak louder. Other than that he was wonderful and picked a great scenic spot for lunch.

Don't book this . It is a cab driver, not a tour
Our tender was late The DRIVER(not tour guide) waited for us. We had booked a 5 hour tour. He was very nice, but had little to no information. As we ended our "tour" the driver told me he gave us our 5 hour tour but hd to charge us $80 more since he waited for us for our tender to arrive . This was a surprise to me. This would have been discussed when we first met to give us the opportunity to cut our hours for we wanted to. Very poor business practice.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry that the experience did not meet your expectations. We would, however, like to clarify the circumstances for future guests. Your tour was scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM, but unfortunately your ship’s tender was delayed. Our driver-guide waited for your arrival and, rather than reducing your tour time because of the late start, provided the full five-hour private tour, finishing at approximately 4:15 PM. The additional amount was related to the extra time our driver-guide remained available beyond the originally scheduled service period. We do agree that any additional charge should have been clearly discussed and agreed upon beforehand, and we apologize that this communication was not handled properly. Most importantly, when you raised your concern and requested a refund of the additional $80, we immediately approved the refund in full as a gesture of goodwill. We always do our best to accommodate cruise passengers when circumstances outside their control cause delays. In this case, our driver-guide waited for your arrival, provided the full five-hour tour you had booked, and we promptly refunded the additional amount when you requested it. We appreciate your feedback and have addressed the communication issue with our team.

Was nice to customize a...
Was nice to customize a tour to our interests. Guide provided some narration and history of area and sites we went to but wasn’t nonstop narration so we spent some time just taking in the scenery. We went to Peggy’s Cove, Swissair memorial, titanic cemetery, and citadel. We also went to Ryer’s lobster which was a highlight of the trip where we were educated about lobsters and saw different live lobsters in different sizes including a 14lb live lobster that is about 80 years old.

Our guide was energetic and proud to show off his homeland. He was very accommodating to our wants and needs and will customize the tour to your preference. He was very good at taking pictures and capturing memories for his guests. I would recommend him to friends and family if they were to visit Halifax

Claudio was an excellent driver and very accommodating! We hired him to do a private tour around Nova Scotia. He helped streamline the tour to give us the most bang for our buck. He even found us a delicious luncheon spot that served the best lobster roll croissant!!

Amazing tour with Anant
We had a fantastic tour. Our ship was an hour an and a half late in letting us off but our tour guide Anant helped us make the most of our time. His knowledge of the area and its history was amazing and we spent time in between stops getting the full stories of places we had just visited and were about to visit. At the Tirantic cemetery I noticed people who were with the larger tours lean in to hear ours because Anant knew not just the general story but all the details of the individual graves and the attempts to identify some of the unidentified graves. Anyway we couldn’t have been happier with the tour and our guide Anant.
