Itinerary
Your adventurous day begins with a scenic drive to Peggy’s Cove. Located just under an hour’s drive away from Halifax, Peggy’s Cove is a picturesque fishing village with plenty to see and do. While driving up to Peggy’s Cove, your guide will point out notable sights, landmark, and scenic views. Upon arrival at Peggy’s Cove you will be given plenty of free time in which you can explore the area around the historical lighthouse, stroll along the ocean looking for tidal pools, head into the village to watch the fishermen come and go, or go shopping in one of the small boutiques and shops.
It is perhaps best known as the final resting place for over one hundred victims of the sinking of the RMS Titanic. Officially known as Fairview Lawn Cemetery, the non-denominational cemetery is run by the Parks Department of the Halifax Regional Municipality
Halifax Public Gardens are one of the finest surviving examples of a Victorian garden in North America. They were founded by the Nova Scotia Horticultural Society in 1836 and were recognized as a National Historic Site in 1984. The Halifax Public Gardens is also part of Canada’s Garden Route.
Drive by the Halifax Seaport Farmers’ Market, one of the oldest continuously operating farmers’ markets in North America, known for its vibrant local vendors and waterfront location.
Pass by Pier 21, Canada’s historic gateway to immigration where over one million newcomers first arrived in the country between 1928 and 1971.
Next you will stop at Citadel Hill. Throughout the tour you will explore prison cells and alleyways that date back to 1745. At the end of the tour you will watch the daily noon cannon fire.

Britanny was very knowledgeable. She was a very good driver. We did a lot in a bit more than 4 hours. Highly recommend the tour.
Great value for the money would recommend friends to do this. Our driver was great too bad. Not all of the guests were cooperative. And that kind of ruined the experience.
The guide was very knowledgeable and answered all questions. We could have stayed a little longer at Peggy’s Cove. Very personable experience
We absolutely loved the tour. June cares a lot about providing the best tour experience for her guests and you can tell!! So much history & so much beauty in all the stops. We appreciated the time she gave us to explore on our own in all the stops. Highly recommend.
I believe I had a good experience. Cameron did an absolutely fantastic job. What I felt can be improved is to have more time at each site, especially at the Citadel and maybe at Peggy's Cove. That is all, otherwise, I think this experience is very good.
We were a small group of four in total. Our host was motivated and very friendly. The Mercedes van was comfortable. We started by visiting the Citadel, followed by Peggy’s Cove and finally the cemetery when Titanic victims rest. The visit to each site was fairly brief but allowed enough time to take in the experience. We may return to Peggy’s Cove again to explore more.
Wonderful afternoon spent with Sunny! So much better than driving up on our own. Very knowledgeable about the area.
Our tour guide, Brittany was very good. We only had four people on our tour, so it was a wonderful small group experience in a large and comfortable SUV. Brittany narrated well and we had plenty of time to visit each of the sites without feeling rushed.
Our tour guide, Pedro was great. He was engaging, knowledgeable and friendly. Overall, my family and I enjoyed the experience. We highly recommend this team
This was a wonderful excursion, beautiful drive, our driver/tour guide Pedro was wonderful. Friendly, talkative, and knew the highlights. Gave us lots of information, I'm booking with him again!
