Private Cooking Class on the Path of the Lemons

This experience was truly wonderful. I felt at ease as soon as I arrived. Vincenzo was a great host and I thoroughly enjoyed hearing about the history of the farm, the views and of course picking the ingredients from the farm and then cooking 3 delicious courses paired with homemade limoncello spritz and lemon cake. This was an amazing experience and one we would do again. It is 350 steps to ascend to the farm - my Apple Maps said 20 minutes. We took our time and took an hour to walk up. The view from the farm is amazing. The cooking was private - it was Vincenzo and us. The experience was not rushed, and they email the recipes so we can try to find ingredients and recreate at home. The recipes were simple ingredients yet the food was well seasoned and very tasty. We really enjoyed the whole experience once we made it to the farm. We learned about the area as well as Italian cooking. I highly recommend this experience.

We had the most incredible cooking class experience at Golden Dreams! Vincenzo and his family were absolutely incredible hosts. The class was private, as they intentionally keep each booking intimate so it’s just your party — which made the experience feel so personal and special. And the setting is simply unbelievable. The views are breathtaking and truly ones you’ll remember for a lifetime. Even the walk along the Lemon Path to reach the location was an experience in itself! The food was excellent, but what really made the experience unforgettable was Vincenzo. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, humble, and genuinely passionate about sharing his family, his food, and the local traditions with us. This was easily one of the greatest experiences of our entire trip to Italy. We are so grateful for the memories we made and would absolutely book again when we return! I highly recommend this cooking class. My friend and I were supposed to go but she could not make the trek because of a bad knee. The operators were extremely understanding and went ahead with myself solo. The cooking class was great. I loved learning to cook pasta, zucchini flowers with ricotta were my favorite and egg plant dish was wonderful. To finish off with their own lemonchello and lemon cake. I left with a goody bag of apron, bag, lemon ornament, even food for my husband and friend that couldn't attend. That was very kind and appreciated. Thank You for your patience, kindness and understanding.

Wow what an incredible experience we had at Golden Dream Farm. My husband and I went to the private cooking class as an anniversary celebration and we were blown away. The knowledge Vincenzo had on all the recipes was fantastic and the warm hospitality offered by Désiré was very kind. We will recommend this class to everyone visiting Maiori

Great experience! One of the highlights of our trip. A private cooking experience up in the mountains with a stunning view. An incredibly pleasant experience where you are welcomed by both Vincenzo and Désiré. Two amazing people who make this experience very worth testing! In addition to a pleasant experience and good food, we also got gifts as an apron to take with us. Hiking up is easily worth it.

Absolutely amazing experience! The highlight of our trip, well worth what you pay and the small hike up. Everyone was very welcoming and it was so nice to have a personal touch with the gifts they gave us and the aprons you wear during. Vincenzo was great and I can’t thank him enough for how nice he was, he really made it the great time it was. The only small trouble was that the postcode given was slightly incorrect so we were slightly confused at first but there is signs that point you in the right direction.

I had a wonderful private cooking lesson at Golden Dream Farm, up in a beautiful setting on the high hillside above Maiori on the Amalfi coast. It takes some work to get there on the lemon trail, and it was well worth it. The family who run the farm are welcoming and friendly. Desiree and her nephew provided me with a history and how-to of lemon farming. They have several sweet animals including sheep, chickens, and cats who all play their role in keeping the farm going. I had a great time, with Desiree's instruction, learning to cook several delicious dishes using fresh ingredients from the garden - And I do believe theirs was the best limoncello I tasted. I truly savored this glimpse into a beautiful, unique, and hard-working life. Thank you for your hospitality and guidance. I hope i can return someday.

This was a wonderful experience for my husband and our two adult children. Vincenzo and his beautiful family were truly amazing hosts and made the entire day feel warm and personal. We did the lemon-themed pasta experience, and everything was incredibly fresh—much of it coming directly from his family farm. One of the highlights was collecting eggs from his chicken coops to make our pasta, which made the experience feel even more authentic. We prepared several delicious dishes, including a provola (smoked mozzarella) melted between lemon leaves—which is now my new favorite—along with fresh zucchini fritters and homemade lemon pasta. We ended the meal with his fantastic lemon sponge cake. All of this took place in a beautiful outdoor kitchen with a spectacular view, which made it even more memorable. Vincenzo’s homemade limoncello was also excellent. This is a must-do experience if you’re in Maiori or nearby—highly recommend.

Wow. What an experience. My husband was initially hesitant about doing the cooking class, but he knew how much I wanted to do it. It ended up being his favourite activity of the week. The lovely couple who run the farm are so welcoming and friendly it was hard to not feel at home in their lemon garden. We were instantly met with a warm smile and a deliciously cold fresh lemonade (very much needed after the short climb up the lemon path to their farm). Vincenzo then spent time with us on their lemon farm explaining the farming process, talking all things lemons and answering any questions we had. We then picked some ingredients from the farm that we would use during the cooking class. We chose menu two as it had handmade pasta - which is something I wanted to do whilst in Italy. Ours cost €130 pp and was well worth it! You get a welcome drink, a tour of the farm, the personal cooking class where you cook 3 courses, you get to sample the lemon cake and a little goodie bag to take away at the end. They were also kind enough to throw in a lemon spritz (or two) for us as we were celebrating, which was a very kind gesture that was not expected at all, but demonstrates just how kind the hosts were. The garden was reserved for just us, which was another kind gesture, which meant that Vincenzo could give his full attention to teaching us how to cook Italian food (and as absolute novices, we needed all the attention). The recipes were simple enough, but steeped in Italian tradition and use of the amalfi lemon. We were then given the time to enjoy the garden and eat the food we had cooked, as we over looked the bay and the lemon trees. Would 100% recommend if staying on the Amalfi Coast! Even if you don’t fancy a cooking experience, the Lemon Path offers wonderful and unbeatable views of Maiori, Minori and the coast line and is worth a walk (take approx 1hr, wear sensible footwear), but as you do the walk, stop in at the Golden Dream Farm, sample their lemon cake and their fresh lemonade, you will not be disappointed!
