Excellent tour - highly recommend!!!
We had a fantastic tour of the Colosseum. Our guide, Marcello, was an amazing guide! He was very knowledgeable, friendly and we really enjoyed the tour a lot. We highly recommend a private tour guide and visiting the Colosseum underground which is a very special and unique experience.

Better than expected
I honestly had no desire to see the Colosseum, but my husband did. So to be a considerate travel partner, I agreed to go with an open mind. I absolutely loved the experience. Marcelo, our guide was 10/10!!

Worth the investment
We hesitated because of the price, but having a private guide navigate the crowds for us and taking us into the quiet, restricted underground chambers made our trip to Rome unforgettable.

Highly educational and very well organized.
Accessing the Underground requires special ticketing, so booking this VIP private tour saved us all the logistical headaches. Wear comfortable walking shoes, as there are lots of uneven steps and steep stairs.

Scam do not purchase
This is a Scam. Tour Provider Italian Tours cancelled my reservation minutes before the tour started and offered to refund only 10% of my money. Viator should remove this vendor from their list of providers.

Beware don’t book, they take money and don’t show up.
They were a no-show after charging us over $1200 dollars months in advance and left my family stranded in the heat and no tickets for the highlight of our trip after $1200 tickets. They never picked our calls or even cancelled in time for us to arrange something!! If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Beware!!

Worth seeing
Came to know more about the Colosseum and history.. knowledgeable guide. Very helpful too. However, the price seems high for a short tour like this..

The best thing we did in Rome
Definitely worth the money because you get a cooking lesson, a huge dinner, and plenty of wine included. The chef was very patient and taught us the proper Italian techniques.
