This 3-hour guided tour includes the Colosseum’s Regular Levels, Arena Floor and fascinating Underground area, as well as a guided visit of the Roman Forum. Best “ Flavian Amphitheater” Tour
OMG. What a wonderful tour and very informative tour guide. So much history and so many supporting stories. Loved it and would highly recommend. Money well spent.

Very good and informative. He was able to answer any questions to at I had. We had plenty of time to take pictures and take in all the areas we stopped at.

Mixed up our tickets with other group
Mixed us up with another group with name Marc. Ny wife pointed out to girl that we were with other group. She said no. We ended up ruining 2 groups between waiting for each other and getting the tickets correct. All told about an hour. Even the guide was upset saying he felt bad rushing us but we have run out of time.

Good tour - wanted more Colosseum
Would have liked more in the Colosseum overall, we spent hours going through the forum and about 20 minutes dedicated to the Colosseum. Overall a wonderful tour, we loved our guide, Mario!

“Super Mario” was a great tour guide. It ended up being just myself, my brother, and the guide. He was informative and fun. He also gave us lots of general information about life in Italy.

I think anyone that...
I think anyone that DOESN’T use a guided tour of the Pantheon and Coliseum is doing it wrong. There is just too much to know and see to do it without an expert. The tour was well structured, the guide was very knowledgeable - and we definitely got the full experience without feeling rushed or like we missed out. Walking tours are my favorite for getting true value out of a historic place (vs. a singular sight/cool vantage point such as a mountain or a canyon). This one definitely didn’t let me down and I recommend it to everyone that intends to visit Rome. One thing I’d note for those who use Viator and go on different tours is to look at your options in relation to the premium spots/restricted areas. We did not have direct access to the underground portion or the top of the coliseum (which I believe is relatively new to being open to the public). I think those would’ve been amazing too but they were booked well in advance and we didn’t get the chance to jump into one of those groups. Enjoy!

Only 10 Minutes in the Coliseum. Disappointing.
We were only in the coliseum for 10 minutes. We were not allowed re-entry later after the tour because you are only allowed in once per day at your time slot. This was incredibly disappointing. The itinerary online said we would be in the coliseum for an hour. The tour guide himself was very knowledgeable, however he was difficult to understand with the mic, did not give us any time to take photos. I would not recommend the coliseum + Palatine hill reservation. There are plenty of plaques around palatine hill for you to appreciate it enough using a self guided tour. On a bright note, the tour company reps themselves were lovely. We were running very late and they were as accommodating as they could be, and helped us start the tour on time.
