One of the best ways to enjoy Cambridge!
This has to be one of the best things to do in Cambridge. Harry, who did all the hard work, kept us amused and informed as he skilfully and gently took us past colleges, while giving us history and some scandal in a way that was totally in keeping with the leisurely nature of the trip. We had also ordered the Brunch hamper and some soft drinks - sharing some crumbs with cygnets and ducklings. Overall, Harry made sure we had a memorable and thoroughly enjoyable time - given the chance to show somebody else the other side of the colleges, we'd certainly choose Harry or one of his colleagues to take us and our guests.
Operator response
Harry will be pleased to hear that you enjoyed his tour - we will ensure your kind words are passed on! Thank you for the 5 stars and positive feedback.

Lovely experience
We booked a private punt experience for 4 of us and it was amazing. We had Jake as our “Punter” and he gave an excellent commentary throughout our tour, he’s a credit to your company. It was very relaxing and the weather definitely helped as it was very sunny with a light breeze.
Operator response

Punting guided tour
Took my other half on this trip today for her birthday. Ryan, was our tour guide, who was brilliant and funny. We loved it and would recommend to anyone. We'd 100% do it again
Operator response

Not good guide tour. Very Very limited tour guide.
The tour guide was very very conservative with words to put it politely. Rarely spoke only when we asked him .
Operator response
We thank you for your honesty, we are glad that you brought this to our attention. From your booking information, we have been able to identify the member of the team who took your tour. We are looking into the matter to see if any extra training is needed to ensure that all guides are able to deliver the high quality tour that our customers expect. We are sorry that your chauffeur fell short on this occasion. If you would like to talk through your experience more, please reach out to info@traditionalpuntingcompany.com

Great evening out on the River Cam
Booked an early evening private Tour with my daughter. Special treat after her summer studies. Ben R made it enjoyable with special historical insight on all the different colleges. So great to laugh along the way- he made the trip stand out for sure. Five Stars!
Operator response

A great way to spend an evening - especially if the weather is nice
This was a great way to spend an evening. Our tour guide Gemma was really friendly and had good knowledge of both the city and the university. The river was quite busy as it was such a nice day, but she was able to navigate the punt well and avoid any collisions!

Operator response
Gemma is a wonderful young woman and an excellent chauffeur, your appreciation means a lot to us. You were right to go with a guided tour rather than self-hire because of those potential hazards on the river, we are glad you were able to have a relaxing time
