Want to see Berlin, we found a great guide through Viator
Our driver, "Sing", greeted us with bottled waters, was friendly, informative, and was sure to take us to see all we could in our two hour tour. He went the extra mile to take photos for us and to be sure we were in the right areas for memorable photos. He also saw we were getting hungry, suggested a restaurant, took us there and waited for us to have a nice lunch, then drove us back to our hotel. All in all a great value for our family to make the most of our time in Berlin

The best way to travel
Picked up on time. Driver most helpful and informative. Waqz modified our stops as requested...and found me a WC as needed without fuss. Solid good experience .

Berlin Private Tour
Viator messed up with the pick up point in Berlin!! We were to meet our tour driver at the Ibis Hotel. We took a taxi & were dropped off at the given address. NO HOTEL. Fortunately, our tour driver had contacted us. It was pouring rain in a sketchy part of town, waiting for our ride! Pardeep Singh, driving a comfortable Mercedes van for the 4 of us, explained sites as we rode by as well as stopping for pictures (which he took so nicely). The only recommendation I’d make is to have the driver use a microphone headset with speakers in the back for better hearing.

Terrible Experience
This tour was a huge disappointment. Our tour guide spoke such broken English that we could not make it out. He also spoke very low (no microphone) and very fast. We kept saying “what?” And “can you please repeat that?” But still couldn’t understand him. He seemed unfamiliar with several of the historical markers we asked about. He kept wanting to dump us out to explore “on our own” while he waited in his car. My husband and myself are 80 years old and we did not want or pay for that experience. He drove us around Berlin for 1 1/2 hours and we finally asked to be returned to our hotel. He then informed us he would be back tomorrow to guide us on our half day tour of Berlin. I immediately cancelled our tour for tomorrow. Is this the only tour guide that Viator has for Berlin? And surely you have guides who are better speakers of English than this guy. He didn’t even know where Hitlers bunker was located…. This was a terrible letdown for us plus a loss of valuable time and the monetary cost of 2 tours for 2 people. I will not be using Viator again.
