The Tour past all the usual touristy stops & so did we. The stops were all marked well with guides at each stop. Would recommend this tour to anyone travelling in Berlin, just wished we had more time in Berlin.
Don’t go with this company in Berlin, the big bus tour is everywhere and city circle one too but this company must have one bus doing the very very long route as we did not see it at all. Waited at one stop day 1 for over an hour then gave up and day 2 did the same and decided to just get the underground to not waste anymore time on our holiday! Shame as used in many countries and never had a problem. No signs on any of the bus stops either. No agents anywhere! Very poor in this country .. go with a different company or get the underground as easy enough.
App is very poor, as the arrival time almost never matches the actual arrival time - no way to plan activities (according to the app, arrival in 25 min, actually in 4 min) App does not account for construction sites/detours; some stops were closed without informing passengers early enough Audio guide in German took some getting used to at first, but was very entertaining afterward

A great way of getting around Berlin to see the main attractions. The buses run throughout the day and you can check on the app your location, how close you are to the nearest stop and how long the next bus will be. Pick up a set of headphones and a routemap as you get on. Commentary is available in lots of different languages, french, english, spanish etc. 24/48hour tickets available and some you can add a river tour or tv tower tickets, can be bought in advance online or on the day from the city tour staff/reps which are easily recognisable with red uniform and flag with logo.

Good but info is old fashioned and far too many long waits between stops.

Lots of waiting and standing still. The audio guide is not compatible with where you are but becomes uninteresting when you are not at the right building. Bad!

Chose any company but this one in Berlin, Grayline in hindsight would have been a better choice. I have used CitySightseeing in many cities around the world without issue, which is why I didn't research any further, but it was a logistical disaster. They have an app with live updates that are completely inaccurate. Unfortunately, Berlin does not allow to post or indicate pick-up locations, so you are left relying on the app information, so when a stop is noted as Rotes Rathaus, I expect to be picked up at this location, not somewhere else on the opposite side of the square. They also have two lines, the second of which only runs every 40 minutes, if on time at all, whereas the other companies combine into one route with more frequent service. On hot days, with no accurate pick up information or location, you stand exhausted in the heat wondering when the bus is coming. There was also no proper functioning air conditioning on the lower level of my bus on the green line, so either swelter or burn on the upper level. The bus drivers were great and there were on-site reps in some locations to help guide you to the bus pick up locations because of this issue in Berlin, but unfortunately, they were only at a few key spots and often didn't stand at the location indicated on the online maps, which made things very frustrating.
