Dated equipment, poor service
This experience was disappointing. Kelly started out by showing up 10 minutes late and contacting after she was already late even though the information for meet up was very strict of the customer not being late otherwise have the money forfeited. So showing up early only to have to wait was not a great way to start. Once we received all our equipment the flippers were dated and did function well, the goggles as week continued to give us all problems of staying on our face so the continued need to empty them or clear the fog disrupted the experience continuously but the worst part of it all was 4 out of 5 of our scooters died or were on red before 30 minutes of our snorkeling. Before we left she stated that a scooter would have 45m on full throttle but it would last longer if we weren’t using them or the weight of the person using would effect it but this was not true, our youngest who is 70lbs had his die before 30m and when I shared with Kelly the outcome of our day she said it was only a for the average person to last 45m. She said she would test the scooters to see if there was anything wrong and never followed up.
Finally the information in the TripAdvisor page said the beginning and ending of the trip would be at the same location as pick up but this was also a lie and the drop off was a 10min drive dropping off to what I imagine is her residence. To spend over $600 for less than an hour of snorkeling with these scooters was not

Equipment & Battery Life:
Our sea scooters offer up to 45 minutes of run time, but battery longevity depends heavily on water conditions and speed settings. Operating the scooters against strong currents or at continuous higher speeds requires more motor power, which can significantly reduce total battery time.
Follow-Up & Testing Results:
We take equipment performance very seriously. Following your excursion, we tested 3 of the scooters you returned that you initially complained about. Each scooter ran for a full 45 minutes without any issues or defects. We did follow up via text with these test results on 09/02/2026, where you mentioned that you had waited on the beach for about 30 minutes until you felt better before heading into the water to join your family. Your families scooter available battery life would have been reduced by the time you entered the water. All the snorkel equipment was inspected upon returned and there were no defects found.
Pickup & Drop-off Location:
Our shore excursion details specify the meet-up location. Our Northshore drop-off locations are coordinated at the time of pickup; there were no complaints at that time. We apologize for any miscommunication regarding the end location.

Very peaceful experience
Very nice and informative couple running this business. Gave us our equipment and a map and sent us on our way. We snorkeled in Anini Beach and we got to swim with a turtle. We got out around 8:30am. This activity is self lead and we were a little wary at first but it seemed like there was a another group learning to snorkel that we kinda followed for a bit just to make sure we never went past the landmarks we were told. Overall a very calm and enjoyable experience. Also the scooters that are provided have a spot for a GoPro hook up, if you have one BRING IT. you definitely don’t want to miss out on what you will see down there. We didn’t bring ours and ended up swimming with some turtles that we wish we could have captured. Overall if you want to be with others in this adventure, you might want a guided tour. My husband and I had no snorkel experience at all and I was actually a little afraid at first, but within 30 mins we got the hang of it and prefered that we go to be on our own time and come in and out of the water as we pleased.

Turtles and Twin Teens
Kelly was gracious and helpful~ due to recent tsunami she recommended we stayed with one beach which had safer surf and told us exactly where to find the turtles- we saw many along with the cleaner fish and sea urchin! What a beautiful day- out twin teens had a blast too!

Fantastic snorkeling experience. With the added bonus of a very helpful staff.
The service was marvelous. And the dive site was perfect for our needs. One of our party was in a wheelchair and she had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The directions to the dive site were good and precise, and the equipment worked as advertised. I would recommend this to anybody coming to Kauai and want to do snorkeling on a reef.

Best snorkeling ever!
Wow! They showed us all the best beaches and spots to see wildlife! The water scooters made it a breeze! With very little effort we could beat the current and stay watching turtles and fish! I don't think I would want to snorkel without a scooter now!!! We also rented a go pro and got great footage. They gave us the SD card - so pictures to share when we get home!

Saw turtles!!
Very fun! The scooters were very helpful in the stronger currents. The maps of the best snorkeling locations were priceless! How would we have known to explore those specific spots?! The coordinator was friendly and very helpful. Would recommend!

Great day for snorkeling
It was great, loved the sea scooters. Anini beach for the win, plenty of sea life and sea turtles. Can't wait to download the GoPro. If you want to explore without a guide, highly recommend.
