Very pleasant and interesting tour (despite the extremely hot morning) during which Annarosa, our guide, led us to discover this wonderful archaeological site, explaining with expertise and passion the discoveries that have occurred over the years, managing to make us perceive the splendor of Pompeii in 79 A.D. Her availability, preparation, patience, and empathy made this tour truly special.

It was a very exciting and engaging experience, both for us adults and for young people, even if of different ages (12-17 years). What about Annarosa? Simply put: the best money spent on our long weekend in Naples, between Pompeii and the Royal Palace of Caserta. Last spring I asked ChatGPT for advice for a private guide in Pompeii and Annarosa came out among the various names. Intrigued, I started reading reviews and just enthusiastic reviews. I didn't think twice: I wrote to her immediately to ask for the availability for a full day visit to Pompeii for me and my family. It was the best choice we could make. The passion that Annarosa puts into the explanations, her impressive culture, the ability to adapt the story to the interests and rhythms of the group (there were four of us) were the real added value of this short holiday. Pompeii is one of those places that stays inside you, but with a guide like this it really becomes an unforgettable experience. I had already been there almost ten years ago, with an audio guide and a hell of a heat: interesting visit, of course, but nothing to do with having a person next to you who makes you “see” the life of that time, tells you anecdotes, makes you notice details that alone you would never notice. I promised myself that if I came back, I would do it with a guide. And my dad’s 70th birthday was the perfect opportunity to give him – and indirectly give me – this beautiful gift. Of course the cost of a private guide has to be budgeted, but my advice is to give up something else during the year and invest it in an experience like this: having someone all to yourself who tells you the story, answers your questions and builds the tour to measure really makes a difference. If you are thinking of visiting Pompeii and want to turn a “simple” visit into a special memory, rely on Annarosa: you will not regret it.

We made a 3 hour visit that flew without making us feel tired thanks to the explanations of our guide Mariarosa who was able to choose for the visit, in addition to the parts so to speak "obligatory" some other areas of the city 'of Pompeii with less crowds but absolutely fascinating. So we got to feel all the sense of the city with its streets, vegetable gardens, gardens, public buildings and private houses with their fantastic paintings. In short, a very thorough all-round visit with explanations , dynamic , interesting and despite the length of the tour (which we deliberately chose) absolutely not tiring. Bravissima Mariarosa.
