Tour guide is well knowledgeable and very friendly and patient .. she really knows well about all the things about this tour
Amazing tour, time and places visited. Worth the time and the tour guide Brianda is the best, great experience!
Very long day but had an amazing time. Lots of stops on the journey to break it up. Our guide Patrizia was fantastic and very helpful. She talked the perfect amount to give us information about the sites but not make it boring. Our driver Gianni was great and helped keep the air conditioning running on the coach as it was extremely hot. Met some very friendly people and saw some beautiful, interesting places. Would recommend.
Great experience and a wonderful way to get a nice taste of Sorrento and Pompeii. We met at piazza del popolo early in the morning and boarded our bus soon after check-in. The guide (Ion?) was fantastic at both giving fun facts and history as well as keeping our spirits up during the heatwave. On our way to Sorrento we had one pit stop early on and then a second one at Limoncello di Capri Showroom where we were able to taste some Limoncello and buy souvenirs as well as take some breathtaking pictures. We stopped in Sorrento where we had about an hour or so of free time before getting back on the bus to Pompeii. At Pompeii we met our guide who took around the ruins and gave some great history. The guide was fantastic and even though it was incredibly hot during this heatwave, our Pompeii guide kept us so engaged and entertained that our spirits remained high. Afterwards, we got back on the bus and headed back to Rome. This was a lovely experience and I highly recommend for anyone that wants to get a taste of some places outside of Rome.
It was very hot in Pompeii but a nice day trip out of Rome. Sonia as a tour guide and Roberto as a driver were great. They could not do more for us.
We did Positano and Sorrento trip which is a long day - roughly 14 hours. Comfortable coach bus, a couple of bathroom stops each way as it is a long ride. Our driver Gianni was amazing driving the motorcoach up the steep hills and narrow roads of the Amalfi Coast. Patricia was a great guide - providing enough information but not talking to fill the silence allowing guests to sleep, listen to music, etc.
The trip was amazing! Not only is the journey beautiful but the stops are well organised and add to the experience. The best part of the trip was Flávio. His humour, storytelling and quick tips completely made the experience, not to mention his help with directions, which really helps a solo traveller. He was brilliant and I would do the whole trip again.
We had the amazing experience of taking a Amalfi Coast tour with Marius, and to say it was exceptional would be an understatement! Marius is, without a doubt, the best tour guide we have ever had the opportunity to experience. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and helpful throughout the entire day. He made sure everyone was informed about the details and timing, and he went above and beyond to ensure that everyone was having a wonderful experience. Even while we were on the bus, Marius continued to check on everyone, making sure we had water, were comfortable, and were enjoying ourselves. His attention to detail and genuine care for the group truly made the day special. If your rating system only goes up to 5 stars, I would give Marius 20 stars!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐️⭐️ This was, by far, the best guided experience we have ever had. We will absolutely book with your company again, and Marius is a huge reason why. Please make sure he knows how much we appreciated his outstanding service. He is truly exceptional! Warm regards, RW
I joined this tour on my first visit to Rome. About 50 people were on the same bus. We were the only Japanese among them. The English-speaking guide spoke fast and often couldn't hear me because of my accent. I went to the Sorrento first because my schedule was changed. It was a factory tour, but the factory was still and we passed a small workshop rather than a factory without any explanation, then just a glass of lemon cello. But somehow it was meloncello. I next arrived in the city of Sorrento around 13:00. On the bus, they took a questionnaire for pizza or pasta, but I couldn't understand the purpose of the questionnaire, so I checked with the guide before the start of the free time in Sorrento and he said it was a questionnaire for the menu to eat at night, and dinner was served around 17:00 or 17:30. I didn't have time or timing for lunch at a restaurant, so I bought pizza at a takeout shop. But it took so long to line up. By the way, although I asked for it in the hall, it is faster to ask for it in pieces. The store was very close to the park, and the park had a great view! It was great. A very small bus terminal at the meeting point? I used a toilet in a place like this, but it was very dirty and paid. And even though it's still in there, it's non-usable! (Don't use it!) And suddenly the cleaning started. In Japan, it is absolutely unthinkable, but I can only think of it as this kind of culture. Next up is Pompeii. I arrived around 16:00. Our expert guide showed us around, which also had an accent and was often inaudible, but it was very interesting to understand. According to the first plan, Pompeii was in the morning, but the morning was so hot it was 40 degrees! And he said you guys were lucky because the temperature dropped a little this afternoon. I couldn't hear it. Still, it was very hot and there was a lot of shade, probably just because of the time of day, so it was a relief. I was about an hour into it, and suddenly there was a squall! The squall caused the temperature to drop considerably to the point of cold. At the end of the tour, we walked into a museum-like facility. A pretty severe thunderstorm when you're in it. I waited a bit and the rain stopped just in time. It was around 17:30 when I left the facility, perhaps because Pompeii was open until 17:00 but had been waiting. After that, pasta or pizza was ready for takeout at a shop right near Pompeii. It meant you could eat in the shop or on the bus. It was after 21:00 when we arrived at Piazza del Popolo, the place of the end. I was hesitant to get on the Metro at that time, even though it was summertime, but I was very heartened as the participants mostly went to the Metro! In general, it was great to see beautiful scenery and to see what life was like in Pompeii at the time. I just wanted a detailed explanation of what to do with lunch beforehand and where and what time dinner would be.
