The bus from Naples picks you up in front of a hotel, there are a least 3 tour groups that meet at the same location. the drive takes about 30 minutes, and they drop you off at the snack bar and restaurant where you can use the bathroom and get something to eat before your tour starts. There are souvenirs there, but the tour will also include going to the museum store at the end. Our guide, James, met us shortly after we arrived and took us though a lot of the major points in Pompeii. James had been around Pompeii most of his life and his mother was a professor and archeologist at the site - he had all the good info and best stories. He did a fantastic job, and we will always remember him and his stories that made the ancient world come to life. Thanks James and thank you for sharing your story of beloved kitten Mitchy with us.
A trip to be taken from Naples to Pompeii and back for the family is just what we needed. Our guide Sasa was incredibly knowledgeable and with his added humor, he made the guided trip even more fun.

Frankie was an amazing guide. Told us so much about the history of Pompeii and Roman society. It was a super hot day and Frankie did well to find all the shade and breezy spots. He mixed in just enough storytelling to keep it interesting while still being focused on the history of the area. I would recommend Frankie and Enjoy Pompeii to anyone wanting an in-depth tour of this incredible place. Transfer to/from Naples was smooth and straightforward.

We had an amazing tour!!! The length was just right, given it is August and Pompeii was HOT. If it was cooler, we probably would have booked a tour longer than two hours. They split us into smaller groups, so our tour had about 10 people. Angelo was the best tour guide, very knowledgeable and we learned so many new facts (my husband had been to Pompeii years ago and he learned a lot of new information). And, the transfer instructions were clear and easy to follow. Overall, we would recommend this tour to anyone!

Sass was our guide. He was very knowledgeable and great fun. Highly recommended Note for future bookings… It was my first cruise. On all other excursions we were picked up at the port. I made the error of assuming this was the same. We were very kindly rebooked on the next tour at 1139 and had our own private taxi. This was very kind of the company.

Pickup was late 1.5 hrs. Got a lame excuse that driver had a flat tire. Put us with next scheduled tour. Would not take this tour!
We have all the conversations where we communicated with you without causing you any inconvenience. The driver picked you up at 9:15, and the tour with Frankie was perfect, as always. You asked for a refund for non-existent reasons, and since it was refused, you made up lies to write a negative review. This is very unfair. It's a shame that conversations can't be published.
