Fantastic Experience
Pompeii was incredible (as expected), but the lunch and wine tasting exceeded our expectations!
I chose this tour partly because it visited Pompeii in the morning. Pompeii is HOT in August, and I wanted to visit before the heat of the day. It was very warm but bearable. Two hours is just enough to familiarize yourself with the massive site and scratch the surface of what's there - I would love to return and spend longer when it's cooler, but it was fine for this visit. Our tour guide was opinionated but very knowledgable, and we learned a ton about the history of the city.
The winery we visited was perfect - outdoor seating with views of Mt. Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples, surrounded by vineyards. And then the wine and food - I expected them to be good, but my expectations weren't high enough! We enjoyed five wine tastings along with bread, charcuterie, and pasta, and the food was every bit as good as the wine. Honestly, I felt that the visit to the winery was as memorable as Pompeii, and I'm so glad we chose this tour!

Whirlwind tour of Pompeii
Wonderful experience. Very well coordinated experience. Team communicates well to hand us off to the experts of the next part of the experience. The Pompeii tour was exceptional. The lunch was delicious and the horse riding was a once in a lifetime experience. Big shout out to Giacomo, Daniel, the horse riding instructors, the guide in Pompeii.

Great Excursion From Sorrento
Our Pompei guide was awesome, and the wine tasting and lunch was fabulous.
We did the 11:30 tour and took the Campania Express from Sorrento at 10:20, which dropped is 50 feet from the meeting spot with 30 minutes to spare.
Arrived back at the Pompei Scavi train station at 3:52, and took the Citcumvensuviana back to Sorrento.

Great experience of pompeii ruins and wineries in the area
A wonderful day filled with so much fun! We had a great time with Miriam leading an excellent tour of the Pompeii ruins. Then a filling lunch with cheese plate, pasta, and dessert paired with a wine tasting from a local winery. You end the day with horseback riding through another vineyard with a view of Mount Vesuvius and the coastal cities!
