Our foodie journey begins in the heart of Naples in Piazza Dante, where we’ll soon ease into a classic Aperitivo, just like the locals do. From there, we’ll dive into the vibrant energy of Via dei Tribunali, the bustling artery of Naples' historic center. First, a crispy little bite—a true Neapolitan tradition—to whet your appetite. Next, we’ll uncover the rich history of pizza in the very city where it was born and taste an authentic masterpiece. A selection of local charcuterie paired with a glass of wine will give us the perfect pause before indulging in our Secret Dish. Then, it's time to experience the heart of Neapolitan home cooking with a taste of the beloved Sunday sauce that defines family meals in Naples. No Neapolitan meal is complete without coffee! You’ll sip an authentic espresso, the Neapolitan way—don’t worry, we’ll show you how to do it right. And finally, we’ll end on a sweet note, because no food journey through Naples is complete without a little dessert!

Itinerary
One of the biggest Neapolitan squares, here we'll meet up and gather, right in front of Dante's statue and start our Tour, going to our first spot.
We'll discover the history of this ancient door and enter the Decumani area of Naples, going to our Second stop too.
We'll savour our aperitivo, while learning about the history of Naples and its Old town.
We'll walk around one of the longest streets in Naples, mostly famous for pizza: here'll we make another delicious stop, while diving into the local culture.

A Gothic, Roman Catholic church and monastery, founded by the friars of the Dominican Order, and located in the square of the same name in the historic center of Naples.
The straight and narrow main street that traverses the old, historic center of the city of Naples, Italy. Spaccanapoli is the main promenade for tourists as it provides access to a number of important sights of the city and here we'll go for two more stops!
This is the main shopping street from Naples: no walk around this city would be complete without seeing it and, of course, without having our last delicious stop leading us very close to where we started the tour.

Excellent! We did the food tour straight from the airport before traveling to our destination. Great way to see some of Naples, learn some of the history & experience the local foods. Noemi was fantastic & was able to accommodate nut free & gluten free options for our group of 7.

My wife and I did this tour with Anna as our guide, and it was such a great experience. My wife had previously done a similar tour with this company in another location and loved how it combined learning about the community with trying local food. This tour definitely lived up to that experience. Exploring Naples through the eyes of a local was so much fun. We tried foods we probably would have walked right past if we were exploring on our own, and of course we had to stop at a locally owned pizza place where we sampled two traditional Neapolitan pizzas. It was a fantastic way to experience Naples, especially when you only have a limited amount of time. We would absolutely book another tour with this company and highly recommend Anna if you're visiting Naples.

Had an excellent authentic food tour of naples with Rebecca, who showed us the best local places to eat and drink. We enjoyed it so much we went back to some of the places shown the next day! We would definitely recommend this tour, especially with so much choice available and so many "tourist traps" on every alleyway. Do the tour early in your trip so you have lots of places to go back to later!

Top tip make sure you are hungry! You will be treated to the best and most delicious Neapolitan food ! Our introduction to Naples and its fabulous local food was fantastic. This was a fun tour and tasty! Rebecca clearly explained the menu and order in which the Italians eat. She brought us to many cafes and restaurants that had delicious food. Her information was very informative and included some history lessons as well. If you want a look into the soul of Italy I recommend Naples and this authentic tasting tour.

We had a great afternoon w/ Rebecca eating way too much food in Naples. I really loved how she interacted with our teens and how informed and enthusiastic she was about Napoli food. She also changed the tour to include Gelato when I asked for a referral to a good place, this was above and beyond that she changed the tour for us. BTW the food is great - especially the pizza and the antipasti =)
