Pompei Skip The Line 2-Hours Guided Tour in English or Italian

I would not recommend booking excursions through this company. We booked a trip to Pompeii and were sold train tickets despite widespread, well-publicised disruption affecting the rail service. The disruption had already been widely reported, yet the company continued selling tickets without any warning. We ended up stranded on an overcrowded train in dangerously high temperatures with no air conditioning, no water and no communication for over two hours. We had no idea what was happening or how long we would be stuck for. The driver locked himself in the cab, leaving passengers without any information, and we had no option but to remain on the train in those conditions. As if the experience itself wasn’t bad enough, the company’s response afterwards was equally unacceptable. After the trip, I spoke to them hoping they would show some concern or at least acknowledge what passengers had gone through. Instead, they were completely dismissive and showed no empathy whatsoever. Once they’ve got your money, the charm disappears and you’re very much on your own. If anything goes wrong, don’t expect support or customer care. Based on our experience, they’re happy to take your money but take no responsibility when things go wrong.

I enjoyed the flexibility of this booking, that if we got there early we could take an earlier tour.. this was very useful and we took advantage of it. Their location at the train station was easy to find. They seem very well organised and herded the group out to the guide with earpieces provided. We then had a fantastic 2 hour tour with a superb archaeologist called Lina from PompeiiTickets... it was just superb. All in all, very happy.

Pompeii is an incredible experience Ms Stella is a fantastic guide who puts passion into her work. Very kind and helpful to any information. Rely on her if you can

Our guide was very knowledgeable and energetic to share the history with us. The ruins are close to numerous restaurants within a 15 minute easy walk.

Booked this tour through booking.com. Office next to train station and was easy getting there although an hour there and back. Guide was amazing and was very insightful. Really enjoyed this tour.

We booked the tour outside the Scavi di Pompei station as this company has a bunch of people standing there to sell tickets. Will recommend - the guide was good. But there were too many (and too long imo) stops for photography. Felt like a waste of time. And the tour is also not for 2 hours, 1.5 hours max. Pompei is too big so it will be confusing to do it without a guide. We felt like we saw the highlights and that was good enough for us.

Fantastic choice for us to take on this tour for our limited time in Sorrento. Staff at the TT Sorrento Station office are friendly and well informed, providing us with detailed information for our outing. This particular excursion did not disappoint. We’re able to walk to the station from our hotel and then after a 30-40min train ride to Pompeii we were met on the first floor by our guide Nic and we set off from there. We were swiftly through the huge site in just over two hours. Upon reflection we’re so glad that we didn’t attempt this on our own - many visitors not on a tour were obviously lost, tired and hungry. There currently is nothing provided for visitors within the site ie w/c, seating/snacks. All of that it outside the Pompeii site. Highly recommend this tour operator for your stay in Sorrento

Saved myself 50% by using Tempio. Very easy to book and pay at Sorrento train station. All tickets put in an enveloped and all explained before we boarded the train. Non pushy.Everything went seamlessly.

This tour company is right at the Sorrento Train station. We were planning on taking the circumvesuviana train and exploring Pompeii on our own. The tour organizers were outside asking people if the wanted to do a toru and after talking to him we decided to do the skip the line tour and I am glad we did. We booked tour and took train and met a designated spot at the train station in Pompeii. We were very glad we did the tour. It was informative and also they take you to the spots that are of most interest. The archeological digs cover a big area and the tour allowed us to be efficient. Once tour is done you can stay and continue to explore. There is a cafe on the site and was nice to get the overview and than explore more. Would recommend to take a tour and this one did a nice job.

So amazing to see! We learned a lot of information about Pompei while seeing the site. The tour was very well organized. Highly recommend taking this tour!
