Description
This full day private tour combines some of the best coastal views in the region with Pilgrim history. First stop focuses on the Presidential history of John Adams and then for something completely different we swing by the first Dunkin' Donuts (how's that for random). Then it's sit back and enjoy the views, through south of Boston towns Hingham, Cohasset, Scituate and Duxbury. There's some great photo opps along the shoreline that you won't be able to resist. Next onto Plymouth and it's Pilgrim history as well as it's own lovely ocean views. This is a break from your city break. We pick up and drop back to downtown Boston, will stop for lunch along the way (not included in price of tour) and will make sure you have a calm and relaxed day.

Itinerary
Drive through the notorious neighborhood of Southie and to the city of Presidents
Just a few miles outside of Boston is the birthplace of 2 Presidents and the home of John & Abigail Adams, so we'll stop by the houses.
From Quincy, we'll pick up the scenic roads and drive through the quaint towns of Hingham, Hull and Cohasset.
If you've always wanted to get up close to a lighthouse, you'll love this stop. We'll stop here and tell the story of it's teenage sister residents who made an impression on the British in 1812.
We'll continue down the coast, and through the town famous for it's oysters. Want to dip your toes in the Atlantic, well bring your beach towel cause this is the perfect beach for a quick stop.
Finish our scenic drive through Marshfield and then into the town where it all began.
A walking tour around the main Pilgrim sites, sharing stories of the Pilgrims, their decision to settle here and their day to day life. Then the main event for Pilgrim history buffs. To be fair, it isn't much to look at but we'll share the legend and symbolism of the rock.
Time to get on board this replica ship and see for yourself how tough the journey across the Atlantic must have been. Admission is not included and is $15 per adult.
A quick stop on the way out of Plymouth at this 81 foot monument to commemorate the ideals of Pilgrims.
Leaving Plymouth we'll pick up the highway to get us back to Boston. Be prepared for some unpredictable traffic.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We took the Plymouth & South Shore Private Tour with Christian, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. When our flight was canceled and we arrived later than planned, Christian went out of his way to adjust his schedule so we could still enjoy the tour. His flexibility and kindness were greatly appreciated. Christian was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and made the history come alive with his stories and insights. My favorite stops were the John Adams homestead and the Adams family church—both fascinating and memorable. Plymouth was wonderful as well, and Christian even recommended the perfect lunch spot where we enjoyed fresh lobster while looking out at the Mayflower. It was a fantastic day filled with history, beautiful sights, great food, and excellent company. If you’re considering this tour, I highly recommend it—and Christian made the experience truly exceptional! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Martin was amazing and full of facts and fun stories. My 11 year old left the experience wanting to learn more. Do yourselves a favor and book this!
Christian is very personable! We thoroughly enjoyed the John Adams’ house and Plymouth Rock. We were able to explore at our own pace. Highly recommend!
Christian was our tour guide on this day long tour. We had such a great day with him. We visited the home of the John Adams family. When we learned that the crypt of where John and Abigail Adams and John Quincy and Louisa Adams were nearby, Christian stopped for us. We learned how the state of Massachusetts got its name, put our feet in the Atlantic ocean and saw Plymouth Rock. Christian even took us to a local seafood place for lunch and we enjoyed his recommendation of a fish sandwich and lobster bisque. Christian provided a great love of history and made it a fun day for the family.
Martin was a very nice tour guide who gave us a really fun time with many interesting insights and fun facts on top! It was a very comfortable ride taylored towards our interests. He picked out a decent restaurant to grab delicious and not too pricy food. Martin you were awesome! Thank you so much!
