Fascinating Concept

This planetarium is only 4 months old so still a work in progress. The presentation was a bit disjointed but I did learn a lot. Unfortunately the sky was cloudy so we firm get to see the sky. They provided blankets and transport and her enthusiasm was contagious. I would love to come back again when it has been a bit more developed.

Time well spent

The staff are knowledgable, serious astronommers who also share their cultural heritage. This is an intimate planetarium experience. The telescope viewing is limited by proximity to city lights and of course weather.

Operator response

Our team of knowledgeable astronomers takes pride in sharing not only the wonders of the cosmos but also the rich cultural heritage tied to the stars. While telescope viewing can sometimes be influenced by proximity to city lights or weather conditions, we strive to make every visit a memorable and enriching experience. Good if you can’t get to the country

I was glad to go on this tour because my plans had changed, and I wasn’t going to get to see stars out in nature like I had expected. For that reason, it was worth it. But if you can get out in nature, that would be preferable. All the guides were extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable. But even so, you’re still in a city.

A great way to learn about constellations and the Inca astrology

This is a family business and they do it with their heart, you can feel their passion about astrology. I learned so much about different constellations and the Inca astrology. We even have a chance to look at the Jupiter, Saturn, etc with telescopes. I saw so many stars even without the telescopes, which I was not able to see when I was at Cusco city center. It was fascinating! They were very thoughtful, too. We were each given a blanket and a cup of tea to keep us warm during the tour! Highly recommended this tour, it’s worth it!

Star Gazing

A good way to spend an evening in Cusco, especially if you have younger ones to entertain. On a clear night, we were treated to views of Saturn and the Moon outdoors through telescope, as well as an enthusiastic talk about the the Inca's and their cultural interpretation of the stars and the Milky Way in the Southern hemisphere.
