Pisa and Florence Private Tour from Livorno Port

Emiliano was fantastic. This was a nice blend of tour guide and seeing a little on our own when he stayed with the car. Took us to some incredible spots that gave us amazing views of all of Florence.

Our driver was wonderful.. very knowledgeable and courteous. We had a great day exploring Pisa and Florence. Plenty of time to explore and visit as well as shop.

Gianmaria was our driver and guide. He picked us up at the Port and kept in close contact with WhatsApp. He was really friendly, provided lots of useful information. Took us to Pisa and advised us where to go, how to get the best photos and then we travelled onto Florence stopping on route for photos of the beautiful countryside. We saw the main sites in Florence, had a beautiful lunch in a traditional trattoria and then finished the day with some gelato.

We booked the Pisa and Florence private tour. Alessio was an excellent guide and spoke very good English. He picked us up from the Livorno Port and took us first to Pisa. Alessio shared a lot of interesting facts along the way. Pisa was amazing. After about 45 minutes of free time exploring, we left for Florence. Our first stop was at the Piazzale Michelangelo, which had spectacular views overlooking Florence. Our next stop was the Piazza di Santa Croce. We spent about 45 minutes there exploring the square and Basilica. Next he drove us to the Accademia to see The David. We did not have tickets beforehand but Alessio made a call and helped us purchase some. Next he drove us to the Piazza del Duomo area and gave us lunch recommendations. We ate at the Osteria del Porcellino which was superb. After a few hours of free time exploring, he drove us back to the ship. When time is limited, it was so nice to have a guide that drove us to different spots instead of walking, especially since it was raining. Alessio was full of knowledge and our group of five really enjoyed this tour. Thank you!

Thanks to me we had a small problem on our excursion. I thought we ported in Livorno but we actually ported in La Spezia. I contacted the company and explained my mess up to them. They were quick to work with us and find an alternative itinerary for us since Florence is like a 2.5 hr drive from our port. We ended up with a trip to Pisa and Lucca and a reservation for a lunch and wine tasting. Our amazing driver Emanuel was there to pick us up and took amazing care of us through the day. Wonderful company to do business with the way they worked with us for our trip.

We had the best experience. There were 16 of us age 13 to 67. The vans were air conditioned and our guides were able to drop us off close to all the major sites with no extra walking since we had one adult with a broken foot. They also arranged for the most amazing lunch in a beautiful location. We had a lovely day. We would highly recommend this tour.

An excellent way to spend a day off the cruise ship seeing Pisa and wandering around the heart of Florence for a few hours. Nice to see the Italian countryside. Leonardo was our guide/driver. Excellent information and very accommodating! Highly recommend both tour and guide.
