I'm a native Krakowian. For three cosy hours, we'll make pierogi (Polish dumplings) by hand, the way my mum taught me. Then sit down to traditional soup, our pierogi + homemade cake, and good stories, with Kraków's history and art along the way. For fifteen years, I've cooked for the people I love. Eight years ago, I started opening my home to guests from all over the world, and it's become a real joy. As a born Krakowian I get to share stories about the city's history, especially when it comes to art and architecture, another passion of mine. The pierogi will be made following authentic recipes handed down generations in my family. My home sits right by the Wisła, where the locals live, about 15 minutes by taxi or 20 minutes by bike along the river from the Old Town. Total beginners are more than welcome, and confident cooks still pick up proper technique. It's about the experience and the chatter, not perfection. Nobody leaves my kitchen hungry, or as a stranger.

Hanna was so much fun! Her pierogi are the absolute best we had in Poland! Dare I say…better than my own babcia’s? Oh and the beetroot soup! It was delicious! It was a great experience to be in Hanna’s home in a small group. Her home is lovely with a beautiful view of the forest from her kitchen. Very welcoming and wholesome experience. Went into this as someone who is normally quite shy, but immediately felt at easy. Hanna is absolutely wonderful and very accommodating. Me and my partner had a very pleasant experience. Afterwards we walked slowly back to the town centre which took about 1.5h which was very scenic and beautiful and gave us a chance to burn off all the beautiful food we ate. Thank you Hanna

I spend a wonderful afternoon. Was really fun to learn to make these delicious typical polish treats. The fact that the host is a real polish girl with generations of home cooking makes it really interesting. She can tell so many stories that give you a glimpse of how polish people live and think. We didn't really know the concept, we must admit we didn't really know what it would be like, but it was really cool, and the time went by super fast! Hanna is a super attentive person, she is also very cultured, she really knows a lot of things about her city, but also about art and history in general, we had a good chat.

We attended a workshop with my friends, and it was such a great experience cooking together 🙌. We made two types of pierogi. Hania guided us step-by-step and shared some of her tricks and secrets . In the end, we had a wonderful dinner enjoying everything we made, with traditional beetroot soup and a homemade cheesecake for dessert.

Such an intimate and warm experience. I went with my family to Hanna's cooking class. She is a very genuine talkative person, we had the nicest conversations about her heritage and the differences between our cultures. She is patient during the process and gave us tips to make the perfect little pierogi. She made us beetroot soup to put in our pierogi (the holiday version) and after we ate our pierogi, we had a nice cake to finish the meal. Recommend to anyone wanting to have a genuine polish experience with someone that has great knowledge about Polish history.
