Very saddening
We were there way before they close.
I pad for the 3 d as well as the 7d experience ( the one with playing the games) the man stood at the entrance and said he is closed, it was a few minutes to 8. The experience goes for 1/2 hr I was told. He said no we couldn’t do it, after a while of him saying no, and I explained I wouldn’t get a refund as I had to go home to Australia. He said sorry, but eventually he let us in and did the first experience and offered another experience the same but a trex one.
I paid $23 US do both experiences. I was failed to do both.
Operator response
Penny, we are so sorry for the experience you had during your visit. This is not the standard of service we hold ourselves to, and we completely understand your frustration — especially as a visitor traveling all the way from Australia. You paid for two experiences and you deserved to enjoy both of them, full stop.
We're glad our team member ultimately accommodated you, but we recognize that should never have been a struggle in the first place.
We have shared your feedback with our team to ensure this doesn't happen to future guests. We'd love the opportunity to make this right — please reach out to us directly at clayton.hill@fegllc.com and we will do our best to address your experience.
Thank you for taking the time to share this with us.

Not as expected
The flyover is really cool. Great way to see the SF area. 7D was not as expected but it was fun. Quite short.
Operator response
Thank you Amanda, so glad The Flyer wowed you — it really is a one-of-a-kind way to see San Francisco! The 7D is a quick but action-packed ride, and we totally get that it leaves you wanting more — that's usually a good sign! We hope you'll make it back to PIER 39 next time you're in the city. Thanks for visiting!

7D Carnival is Amazing! Flyover is Fun!
The 7D Carnival was so much fun! I was screaming and my hands were sore from shooting. Love that you can do again for a discounted rate. I'd definitely do it again. The Flyover was fun. I think it could be a little better and longer, but I recently went to the one on the Las Vegas strip, so it had a lot to live up to. Depending on the city, I'd do it again.

A small attraction, but...
A small attraction, but it doesn’t compare to the major American theme parks — of little interest, except perhaps for the youngest visitors.
Operator response
Thank you for your feedback, Kays_L. We're sorry to hear the experience didn’t meet your expectations.
We appreciate your thoughts and will keep them in mind as we continue to improve.

Immersive experience
The reviews do not do this experience justice. This was a really cool and really immersive experience. We did this right after the self driving San Francisco tour and it was perfect. I even got the high score on the zombie shooting game. I was celebrating my 36 birthday and this was a fun experience.

Overpriced tourist trap.
Visited: 10/06/2023
Really overpriced for what it is, not worth the money at all.
The Flyer was an interesting concept as you are taken on a flight over San Francisco to see all the tourist hotspots and iconic places. Your seat moves with the flight to give the illusion you are flying over San Francisco. While it is good in the sense you see everything San Francisco has to offer if you are short on time, the price is astronomical and it is obviously priced based on tourists visiting once.
The 7D experience, again, was interesting. A shooting game where the screen is 3D and the seats move. Hard to find a game that doesn't include killing, or zombies, or scary beasts. Could do with some more family friendly versions of games for those who don't like horror (or if you have kids). Again, it still wasn't worth the price and it was rare the guns picked up on what you aimed at. Another tourist trap experience in our opinion.
Operator response
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts and detailed feedback about your visit on October 6, 2023. We truly appreciate your candidness and the insights you’ve provided.
I’m glad to hear that you found the concept of The Flyer interesting and enjoyed the unique experience of flying over San Francisco’s iconic landmarks. It’s always our aim to offer something memorable, especially for those who are short on time and want a comprehensive view of the city.
However, I’m really sorry to hear that you felt the experience was overpriced. We strive to offer value and a memorable experience to all our guests, and your feedback is invaluable as we continuously evaluate our pricing and offerings.
Regarding the 7D experience, I appreciate your comments about the game selection and the performance of the equipment. It’s important to us that all our guests, including families and those who prefer non-horror themes, have enjoyable options. Your suggestion for more family-friendly games is a great one, and I will definitely pass it along to our team for consideration.
Again, thank you for your feedback. It helps us to improve and ensure a better experience for all our visitors.
