Ashley was a wonderful guide. She met us at the place where we had agreed to meet for the pickup and she already had a table ready for the group. At every point we stopped, she had everything ready to enjoy some typical food. The most interesting part was her explanations about the food and its origin; but she also gave us a tour of the whole city; explaining everything we were seeing; street art, buildings, temples, cultures,.... even personal anecdotes. We ate desserts, fruit, various skewers, Indian food, and we finished at a jetty eating delicious Chinese food. It was almost 5 hours of a very complete experience and highly recommended for getting to know Penang. Thank you Ashley for a spectacular afternoon.
Valuable experience. Exploring the local culture while eating local foods. Also it was great to talk with other tourists from other countries in the group. The guide Ashiline is a very kind sister, she can speak English, Chinese, Cantonese, Hokkien………
Amazing tour with delicious food and interesting information! Ashline was great. Even though something went wrong and the information that I eat vegetarian didn't reach her, she was quick on her feet and made sure I had enough options. She was very thorough and thoughtful! We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this tour, especially if you have a veggie diet since they're the most accommodating tour I could find :)
It was a nice tour. We had very good talks about the different cultures, history and the way of living in Malaysia and Georgetown. And the food was also really good, lots of different types of food and drinks. Thx for the experience and knowledge
The foodtour was super interesting since we also heard a lot about the history of Georgetown. I can recommend it to everyone! :)
Ashline was a great guide for our tour. She is very knowledgeable about the city and the food we tasted.
Very extensive and interesting tour. Garrick explained and showed us a lot. We would do this tour again immediately.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Timothy. He was flexible knowledgeable and we had fun plus the food was great. We ate at places we would never eat at by ourselves. Highly recommended.
Very nice experience to taste different things. The guide will take the time to explain the city as well as give information about the city and its history.
Plenty of food, lovely walk through the heritage centre, our guide was knowledgeable and generous with her information. Highly recommend.
