Really cool experience! When in town my roommate and I did a couple studio tours and this was definitely the favorite. James made us feel like he was actually glad to have us there and cared about the history of the studio

Universal is a theme park, at $160 plus. Paramount is $71, and more of a studio, film/TV production and history tour, which is what I wanted. Great history. Ellie was our guide, and she knows her stuff and is excited about it. 5 stars.
What an incredible experience! We did the VIP tour. Our guide was Mariajose, and she was delightful and so knowledgeable! It was a small group of just 7 guests plus the guide on the golf cart. We enjoyed a delicious lunch in the Executive Dining Hall and LOVED getting to meet and talk with an archivist and Leonard who runs the sign shop. It was so much fun to see the various shows being filmed on the Lot while we drove around. Mariajose told us many stories and played videos of locations in films and TV shows while we stood in those exact locations. Everyone we encountered on the Lot were incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly! It appears that people really love their jobs at Paramount Studios! We would highly recommend this tour. While the VIP tour is pricey, we feel like it is really worth it!
We really enjoyed the tour of Paramount. We saw a lot of great artifacts and the guide was excellent. You’re outside a lot Bobbi golf cart, so just watch what the temperature might be.
This was my favorite of the studio tours. We got to stop and speak with the head/manager/boss of each department and they spoke to us about their work (most had been there several decades). Learned so much about the behind the scenes. The actual lot was much less busy compared to Warner Brothers but still got to see some shows filming. And you get to hold an Oscar!
We chose this tour because of the screen in the van as it shows you the properties as you go which movies the houses have been inn and who owns them. It’s hard to remember as you go along all the information so to be able to link the houses to pictures on the screen is great. Also our guide, I think his name was David, was so funny but informative. He went above and beyond to give us the best time
Sorry to say I was dissapointed in the tour this year. I have been to the Paramount Studios Tour previously and was Much Better then... It all seemed a bit rushed and was not shown the main gate (historical entrance) the water fountain, the Forest Gump bench or associated courtyard and other famous popular sites. Very little ( and I mean VERY Little ) movie / TV locations, etc. We rode on a 6 passenger golf cart most of the tour just looking at the outside of sound stages. Much of the information presented by the guide was in direct conflict with Universal Studios. Interestingly, pretty much ALL Hollywood Studios were mentioned at some point with the exception of Universal. I would NOT recomment this tour at this particular time until they open more areas back up to tours, etc. Many of the areas I had to ask questions about to get information and some of which (not complicated) was answered with "I Don't Know or not sure" I went with a friend who has never been to a studio and they felt it was a bit boring and lacked interest.
Loved this tour. For a short time we were immersed into the secrets of film making, sets, and the roles of those who make it happen. Our guide Zoe was wonderful. Her enthusiasm and knowledge made the experience come alive. No fancy rides and carousels, just a brilliant studio experience.
Brilliant look around the past and a glimpse into the future... Some great history there from the godfather to Elvis to Forrest Gump
Loved this studio tour - got to hold an actual Oscar & to see inside a working studio (Matlock). Guide was very knowledgeable & as there were only 5 of us on the tour, it was great to ask lots of questions too! Seeing the Bronson Gate & the Forrest Gump bench was also fab! Loved it all. Definitely recommend!
