Paella Day Cooking Class Savor the Tradition

Can’t say enough positive things about this experience! Everything you are looking for from a cooking class in Mallorca! Patri is so kind and makes such an inviting environment to learn paella making while also giving you a true local experience! we were full and fed the whole time between fresh sangria and meats & cheese apps to the amazing paella! She also has lots of animals like chickens and cats that we enjoyed getting to interact with. The walk around the town beforehand was such a great way to start off the class! Would definitely recommend.

It was simply incredibly great and exceeded all our expectations! You simply have to experience Patri with her incredibly warm manner. It was an incredibly great day, I can only recommend it to everyone. And the paella was the best I have ever eaten.

Wow where to start!? A magical and truly authentic experience with the very talented host- Patri. Invited into her quaint and beautiful backyard, Patri did an amazing job of blending technique with her own personal family influences. The connection she has with Paella is genuine and it shows. Her teaching style is refreshing as she lets her students get hands on and make mistakes which she gently corrects. She also does not force anyone to participate that does not want to. It’s really a choose your own adventure. The gorgeous mountain setting, snacks, sangria and all the lovely animals are most welcome bonuses. I will mention that with where the parking is located there is a very short walk down a mountain road. It is not dangerous even with cars passing but something for older patrons to be aware of. Thank you Patri for everything! I highly recommend this experience to anyone with appetite for a good time.

We had an incredible time at Patri’s class! She is an exceptional teacher and person and welcomed us so graciously to her beautiful home. This was one of the best experiences we had our entire trip and I highly recommend this experience to anyone who goes to Mallorca. We left with our hearts and bellies full and happy!!

An exceptional, one of a kind, must do experience during your stay in Mallorca. Patri is an expert of her craft and pours joy into every aspect of the experience. You’re guided through the experience of making paella (her family’s recipe) in her beautiful outdoor kitchen surrounded by her lovely cats, dogs and chickens. The day was my birthday present. And at first, I was really skeptical. A paella cooking class? About a two-hour drive away? Looking back, it was actually a wonderful experience with a charming host. Patricia ("Patri") welcomed us in the morning in Banyalbuar and gave us a small tour of the town - with a lot of humor in English and Spanish. Then we drank sangria on the very cute terrace of her house, ate cheese, and began the preparation. All the ingredients were very fresh and Patri explained every step precisely, revealing one or two family secrets along the way. Among chickens, cats, and a dog, it was a lot of fun. The paella itself was magnificent, extremely delicious. Accompanied by Mallorcan wine. Followed by ice cream and coffee. An unforgettable day with a very charismatic host. Highly recommended. A very big hug to you, Patri. You remain in our hearts.

Great event, learned a lot, the location fit the event perfectly, and the hostess was SUPER.

It was a great experience. It's different from the common experiences on vacation. It's located on a very nice, cute little village. You can actually see how the locals live and experience it.

Patri's paella cooking class was the best experience my partner and I have booked through viator. My only regret is we didn't schedule it for earlier in our trip, so that we could better use her knowledge and advice during our time on Mallorca.
