Rebecca was great. So glad we did this tour. Would definitely recommend exploring Ostia Antica.
Phenomenal place to visit and terrific guide! Rebecca was so passionate and knowledgeable. Answered all our questions, personable, best guide we’ve had so far. This trip, especially with Rebecca, is a must!
Aside from the extreme heat it was very informative and interesting
The site was fascinating and so well preserved. Adding to this was Rebecca's colorful commentary and passion for Italian history. Her enthusiasm for the site was contagious. She answered all of our questions and filled in gaps of knowledge we otherwise wouldn't have even known we wanted to know. We couldn't have asked for a better trip or a better tour guide.
Awesome tour and guide. Shade here and there throughout. Several water refill stations. A lovely café and museum midway through. Afterwards, we headed to the beach on our own for the afternoon - a train stop away.
If I could give our guide Rebecca 6 or 7 stars for this tour, I would. It was amazing!. Ostia Antica is a hidden treasure, and I found it more informative and moving that Pompeii or Herculaneum. Rebecca took us into the daily world of ancient Rome, in a city that existed for over 1000 years as a major port, then was forgotten. She is incredibly knowledgeable and shared her love for this world so effectively. Not to be missed.
Our tour guide Rebecca was lovely!! Very very informative and willing to answer questions. The site itself is magnificent, not very busy at all, and gives an amazing sense of how life was for the Romans.
Rebecca was an excellent guide for this tour. She was so knowledgeable and helpful at explaining the history, area, buildings, and mosaics. Rebecca is fluent in several languages, speaks excellent English, and is a pleasure to listen to on the tour. We enjoyed this tour more than Pompei mostly thanks to Rebecca 😊👍👏.
Rebecca was fantastic. Informative and insightful. A wonderful site and brilliant tour.
Rebecca was an excellent guide- informative, funny and enjoyable to spend time with. Would definitely recommend a visit to Ostia!
