Excellent tour if booking it book it when it is dsrk as you get the better effect ideal for teenagers as well
Guide was engaged and a good story teller, substance of stories wasn't really there compared to other haunted walks I've gone on.
If you go on a ghost tour you probably realise that it will feature macabre/gory tales so I find it strange that our guide felt the need to point out that if you needed a "safe place" it was ok to separate from the group for I while. Maybe they should make it clear if you are the sort of person that needs a "safe place" go on the river cruise instead.
We had a wonderful evening on this walking tour! Our guide, MJ was fantastic. She really knew her dates and brought history to life by explaining everything in a way that was easy for everyone to understand. The walk was very enjoyable, with plenty of stops along the way to catch our breath and hear the fascinating stories about the characters who still “haunt” the different sites. We had such a great time and thankfully, no ghosts followed us back to the hotel!
Great visit with lots of eerie stories from a great storyteller.
A very interesting evening with our guide Monica. She was very engaging and gave us lots of facts. We very much enjoyed our tour. Would highly recommend.
Ryan was a wonderful storyteller! We thoroughly enjoyed hearing about Ottawa history with the spooky mixed in.
The tour was great value for the price, incredibly informative and entertaining. Doing a tour like this at the beginning of a visit offers great spots to return to explore in more detail when you have more time afterwards. Photos include The National War Memorial, Fountain at Confederation Park, Post Office at Sparks Street(starting point of tour) and the Cartier Drill Hall.
Ryan was an excellent tour his guide with great stories. He made the experience enjoyable and well worth the money.
