His passion for Japan and its culture was obvious from the moment we met. We had a fantastic time on Alex's walking tour of Yanaka and Nezu Shrine. Although we have visited Asakusa many times, this was our first time exploring Yanaka. With Alex's explanations of the area's history and culture, we saw so much more than we would have on our own. Instead of simply looking around, we gained a much deeper understanding and appreciation of Yanaka area.
