The best day out I have had! A wonderful host and ambassador to his country and community. Sharing his knowledge and experiences with me made it highly personable and less like a guided tour and more like sightseeing with family
I had an excellent full-day private tour of Old and New Delhi, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. A special thanks to our driver, Ram Pal Singh, who was professional, punctual, and ensured a smooth and comfortable journey throughout the day despite Delhi's busy traffic. His driving was safe, and the vehicle was clean and well-maintained. Our English-speaking guide, Gaurav Giri, was exceptional. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Delhi's rich history and culture. He explained every monument and attraction in detail, answered all my questions patiently, and made the experience both informative and enjoyable. His English was excellent, making communication effortless. The itinerary was well planned, covering the highlights of both Old and New Delhi without feeling rushed. From the historic sites of Old Delhi to the impressive landmarks of New Delhi, every stop was memorable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Delhi. If you have the opportunity, ask for Gaurav Giri as your guide and Ram Pal Singh as your driver—you will be in excellent hands. Thank you for making my visit to Delhi such a wonderful and unforgettable experience!
A great tour from Karan and the driver Raju; plenty of cool clean water on hand whilst driving along in a thankfully air conditioned car. Karan was very knowledgeable, pointing out good places for taking photographs and providing great information on the history of the area. The highlight of this tour for me to be the Qutub Minar which really gives an idea of how magnificent their old buildings are. The food stops were a very good choice with plenty of dishes to choose from both eastern and western.
Karan and Raju are an amazing duo who took care of us all tour. Karan is super entertaining and energetic, bringing Delhi history to life at each stop. While we are out enjoying the sights, Raju is kind enough to replenish our water so that we are able to withstand the Delhi heat. Overall, the stops were carefully curated to showcase the rich and diverse cultures of India, where even the most knowledgeable guest would learn something new on this tour. I would highly recommend this tour, especially for first timers, as you explore everything Delhi has to offer in just a day. It's worth fitting this experience into your India itinerary if you only have limited time to spend.
Our guide karan was very knowledgeable and made our tour fun and interesting.
Karan our guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating in this tour. He customized the tour based on our current knowledge of the history, patiently answered all of our questions. He also was a great photographer! Mr Raju, our driver, was a saint especially in this hot summer Delhi weather. He made sure the car temperature was always cold, and always had cold water handy to get us hydrated throughout the day. Highly recommended!
It was a great tour to interesting landmarks that would have been really difficult to get to on our own and in THAT traffic. Harshit was a great guide - easy to get on with, informative, organised. Habib was a careful and safe driver, always where he needed to be to pick us up during the four hour tour which stretched to five with a well-chosen lunch stop.
That sounds like an incredible experience! Navigating through busy traffic can be quite a challenge, so having a careful driver like Habib and an organized guide like Harshit definitely makes the day much smoother and enjoyable. Visiting those interesting landmarks and having a well-chosen lunch stop must have made your tour even more memorable. Thank you for sharing this lovely story!
