Locals whisper that the spirits of those who died violently still haunt the alley, and unexplained sounds and shadows are often reported after nightfall.
Once the most dangerous neighborhood in America, Five Points was ruled by gangs, gamblers, and corrupt politicians. Learn about the brutal clashes between rival gangs and how the area became a breeding ground for crime, poverty, and ghostly legends tied to mass graves beneath the park.
Stroll past historic restaurants and former social clubs that once served as meeting spots for powerful Mafia figures. Hear true stories of mob hits, betrayals, and executions that occurred just steps from where diners enjoy pasta today. Some say the souls of fallen gangsters still linger in these old buildings.
Discover the former headquarters of one of New York’s most feared crime families. This unassuming storefront once hosted secret meetings of notorious mob bosses. Many believe the building holds dark energy from decades of plotting, violence, and paranoia.
Enter one of New York’s most haunted neighborhoods, where elegant brownstones conceal disturbing pasts. Hear chilling tales of tragic deaths, spectral sightings, and unexplained occurrences that continue to plague these historic homes. Some spirits, it’s said, never found peace.
St. Mark’s Place – Former Gang Territory Once controlled by violent street gangs and outlaw groups, this area witnessed riots, murders, and underground activity. Learn how criminal power shifted through the neighborhood—and why some believe echoes of the past still remain after dark.
Washington Square Park End the tour at one of New York’s most famously haunted locations. Mariel was great!!! She did a fantastic job and really knows her stuff. I highly recommend it with her.
The guide never showed up he texted us at the time of the tour then canceled then asked if we wanted to take a later tour that day or the next day still waiting for a refund.
Marielle was a great tour guide; she was very knowledgeable and animated. The facts were interesting and she enjoys her job very much. It might have been nicer to have the beginning of the tour a little closer to the 2nd stop. Also, the break we took was too long.
DO NOT BOOK! The guide never showed up and I’ve yet to receive any response other than automated “please review your experience” emails. Well here it is! My partner and I showed up 10 minutes before like it asks, waited for 20 minutes total with no message from the tour guide. I’ve applied for and emailed about a refund with no response days later. I’ve lived in New York my whole life, and this tour showed me parts of the city’s history I never truly knew. Exploring Little Italy and Chinatown through mob history and ghost stories felt immersive and real, not touristy. The stop at the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory was especially chilling, and the Gertrude Tredwell House was haunting in a quiet, emotional way. Ending at St. Patrick’s Cathedral and then under the arches in Washington Square Park was beautiful and perfectly paced. Our guide, Blake, was fantastic — knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the history, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend this tour for locals and visitors alike
